I keep waiting for this guy to NUT UP, move the chains for more than 3-6 plays and eat some damned clock! There is so far NO killer instinct. We have an 11 point lead, and we can't wait to give the ball back to them, practically BEGGING them to take the game from us! Will this guy ever understand how to put the nail in the coffin?..........And while I'm at it I have to tell ya, this Haynos guy is NOT a very good player. Don't count on him for big things...now or ever. David Martin was WAY,WAY better. Well, they are down on the 5. Could be 14-10 by the time I send this thread. Not trying to be a pessimist. I'm just sick to death of Henne refusing to put them away. Really good QB's would be smelling blood right now.

Henne cannot improvise, can't go to his second or third reads, and has poor accuracy.

Other than that he's great!

I think you guys are being overcritical... he is a young quarterback who just lost his starting running back, has no real receivers, has no safety valve TE, led a 4th quarter comeback a week ago, is playing on 4 days rest, and who appears to be decent despite those hinderances and holes.... 7 games, guys... that's all he has... give him at least this season... Don't you remember what we had before last year? For the best part of a decade?

:rolleyes2:

Wow I hope ur being sarcastic cuz you obviously dont know much about the game..

He does NOT call the plays. He is responsible, however for being able to find second and third reads like the first replier said. He is NOT a bad quarterback....lots of talent! I know in time he should improve. He is still new. I just wish he would act as if he is DARING somebody to try to beat him. We need him to get that "stick it up their a**"
attitude. And you are right in your reference to Dan Henning. What's strange is that he shows signs of brilliance at times, then calls a few series in a row of sheer stupidity. I hope we hold on tonight, but it is going to take eating up some clock with a long drive or two.

they cant get open! the recievers SUCK!

Yeah, you're right, Henne sucks. I mean we're getting our ***** kicked, he has a bunch of turnovers, he hasn't made any clutch throws...oh wait

NOBODY on this thread said Henne sucks. He does NOT suck. Not even close. You're on the wrong thread. Let's see if he can eat this last 5 minutes up. I sure hope so.

I think this post is a conspiracy, thought of by the forum owners to get more people to join VIP.......

I think it might work...

stop bitching about henne. henne has played in my opinion great for us overall. stats dont always tell the stories. if u look at the recievers hes given, and the fact that its his first season actually starting, he is doing just what is excpected. he is not making the big mistakes that young qbs usually make by forcing the ball when knowones open, and aside from last weeks game vs tampa on that play, hes been basically mistake free. if u rnt happy with what henne has done and what he is given, then u obviously havent watched the fins this season.
