Pennington is a good qb dont get me wrong but henne needs to be the starter soon. were 2-4 and yeah we might still have a chance to make a run to the playoffs but lets be legit here nobody thought we would be the team we are obviously but with a losing record put him in. Look at what he did when he played against the cardinals he led us all the way down the feild and put points on the board. Ted Ginn could beat most corners in a foot race and henne has the arm to get him the ball and i just think if they lose this game to the bills they gotta put some serious thought into making him the start let me know what you guys think pretty sure alot of you want the same
 
pennington may have put some yards of last week but it was late in the game...it just doesnt seem like he can get anything going early...i have no expectations for the dolphins to make the playoffs so im with you and i say throw henne in, at least he can spread the defense so ricky and ronnie can shine like the stars they are
 
I think it's a stupid idea and has been debated ad nauseum on this forum. Henne will not be playing until late in the season. The FO wants all the pieces, or most of them at least, in place to set Henne up for success. You don't bench one of the highest rated QBs in the NFL. When a team scores 28 points you should win the game. QB is not the problem right now.
 
I've never heard this opinion before....I'd love to hear more.

If only there were other threads on this subject

We are more likely to win a few games with Pennington and even if we do not get the play off spot then it is worth carrying with.
We should not throw a first-year player already so "early" in the season, if we even want to start him this year. We might do it anyway, but I hope that he can learn something out from the bench and then start next year full time.
 
sit henne for the year. it'll help in the long run
 
IMO penny is the better option for now. Henne no doubt has more skills than Penny does, penny is very experienced in the afc east and gives us a good chance to have our other starters gel and get XP. Next year or late late this year will be good for Henne. Just my thoughts on it tho.

People like you are the reason John Beck's career is ruined. Get lost, your opinion doesnt matter.
 
Henne will be the strater! That is if or when he beats out CP next TC. But if it's any consolation, he's already "strater" than Brady Quinn.
