im in favor of henne starting next week! whose with me? we need someone who can get 8 out of the box.. chad pennington cant do it, he doesnt have the arm... he is a perfect back up. for real, honestly we cant win with other teams thinking run all the time.. pennington has never been one to scare defenses.. we also have a pretty good offensive line, i think we can get away with this... plus im extremely impressed with henne's pocket awareness...
 
i am in favor of starting him to he out played Chad Pennington hands down pennington didnt even play that good last week except for the 4th quarter
 
tired of hearing about Pennington's arm. his arm strength isn't the reason we're 0-2, and if he had a cannon we wouldn't be unstoppable.

Pennington sucks period. True we wouldnt be unstoppable but Henne can do things Pennington cant period.
 
Could have had Dan Marino in his prime and with the offensive talent we currently have he would have been outplayed by the other number 13 on the field today. Not to mention our defense couldn't stop anything today. Awful performance all around.
 
lol Pennington is the best QB we've had starting since Marino. sad but true. he's really not that bad. whenever he has a decent team around him he does well.
 
screw it, put henne in. why not?
if he really is gonna be the QB of the future, might as well let him get his experience now
its not like he's sitting on the sideline learning behind a HOF QB. let him learn by playing.
and hey, he might even give them the best chance to win.
at least he can make an out throw to the WR

I disagree. Great players elevate the entire team. Great players invoke a sense of hope and direction. Great players provide a rallying point for a team.

Look at this team now. Hopeless. Desperate. They are not a team, just a bunch of disjointed players playing as individuals.

Is Henne a great player? We won't know until he plays. We know Pennington is a game manager. If Henne gives this team hope, stop screwing around and put him in. It is time for this team to start overachieving and start believing they can win. That is what it takes to rebuild, and that is exactly what we lack.

this only works if the other players on the team have talent and actually CAN play well.

Sure only problem is Pennington doesnt have a good team around him that being said we need someont who offers something Pennington doesnt. And that is someone who can put some zip on the ball and someone who can throw deep because Pennington never will.
