Henne struggles in Tuesday practice

Yeah I was reading reports on practice this morning. He had 4 very good practices but after the day off he seemed very inconsistant today. He did hit Marshall for a couple of nice TDs but a lot of his intermediate and deep throws were way off the mark.
 
Nolan probably mixed in some zone defenses, and as usual Henne is total crap against such coverages.


He can only look decent playing against a man-to-man defense. Which is the defense miami was in when he looked decent for those 3 days (including the scrimmage when the D was in M2M)
 
People need to stop micro-analyzing every throw Henne makes in damn training camp. This is way past the point of idiocy.

Bingo.

As Dave Hyde says, we need to stop making every single Chad Henne practice into a referendum. I can only imagine every single game itself is going to be doubly worse, though.

I love how you have to assume that zone coverage was used for his struggles. Gives you the green light to go on your rant???

Can't people just try, for a moment, not spell doom and gloom at every moment possible????
 
Does this mean he is going to lose his intrasquad scrimmage MVP Trophy?

All in all he seems to be pretty good for training camp. He is still young so he won't be perfect
 
Everyone saying that one day doesnt say much remember that henne at this point needs to prove that he can be consistent and a day like this does nothing for confidence. Remember that henne's main issue is inconsistency. Save me the excitement with a great day or 2 if your gonna come back the next day and stink it up..that doesnt get us over the hump and surely wont win a super bowl. the lights are still off in henne's head tbh. how long more do we have to see this inconsistency? This is practice...
 
I thought since he turned the corner he would be good every day from here on out.

If everyone wants the "Henne Haters" on this board to give him credit when he has a good practice, I think it's only fair the "Henne Backers" give him criticism for having a bad practice. (Instead of making excuses, or not mentioning it at all). IMO that's a huge double standard set here.
