Henne struggles in Tuesday practice

You just pointed out a negative point on Henne. You are a terrible fan sir, and I am considering leaving this site.(sarcasm)

Wait no don't go! I will make sure he gets to keep his Intrasquad Scrimmage MVP Trophy!

you get the just of what i'm sayin...that was one of his if not his best game as a pro...hennes play won that game...period

Henne had a throw to Camarillo in the 4th quarter that was just a thing of beauty. Even when Pennington was here, it almost felt like we were winning because of the lack of mistakes and the wildcat . . . but in this game, we won because our QB was playing his azz off, making throws we haven't seen since number 13 retired. I'll roll the dice that maybe we can see some more of that this year over trading picks for a QB that has seen his ceiling.

WOW!!! Its Like the Henne haters wait for a bad report and can wait to say I told you so. This is friggin stupid. The report says he missed two passes after completing a 50 yard bomb to Marshall, that's it. Its OK to miss a few passes remember 60% accuracy is considered pretty good for the NFL. The defense gets paid too and I am sure they are a bit upset that Henne got all the highlights after the scrimmage. Its training camp with a new OC, Maybe they put in a few new plays, maybe the players were not on the same page, maybe its going to take time to install the new system, maybe we should see how the preseason goes, maybe we should remember this is training camp, maybe some of us should find a religion out side of dolfanisim.

yea but just as Vaark would say it could be much worse with kyle orton at Qb because he sucks so bad lol

Why single me out when his -7 wins record over the last 2 seasons, an elite SB QB like John Elway, an offensive hotshot like Josh McDaniels, 90% of the Broncos fan base who actually watch every play have by word and/or deed essentially said all the things considering a preference for Tim Tebow or even a certified bust such as Brady Quinn over "3 and out Orton." ?? :idk:

But this of course doesn't jibe with your natural "the grass is always greener if it's NOT a fin player or the team" hard-wired mindset. How much more could a 13-14 QB suck than a 10-17 one over the last 2 years?

one thing that might help henne this year though is it sounds like we are gonna be in shotgun a lot so henne won't be turning his back on the field very much...henne's another one of those qbs that needs to see the field as much as possible...you turn his back on the field and then make him turn and make quick decisions with the ball and read coverages properly you get forced throws...

i'm hoping this o is more a benefit to him in that regard...i don't want to see a bunch of damn back to the field play action where the lbs are just dropping into throwing lanes

Something I have been harping on for two years -

I can promise you if Henne wins 3 Superbowls, Multiple Superbowl MVP trophies, and a few League MVPs no one will look to analyze every pass!

Oh ffs. So Brady came into the league fully formed into the QB he is today?

Tell you what. Go watch a few of the Patriots old games (circa 2001), and tell me just how good Brady was. The guy struggled with consistency as well, and had awful arm strength. But he did have great short accuracy, and the game plan was thus adjusted to this.

Players can't be expected to fit into just any scheme, you have to adjust to them. Smart coaches understand this.

Wake me up when we get a smart coach! Oh and fyi Brady didn't just develop ARM strength in whatever year you think he did! You either have it or you don't and it can't be coached!

****! Matt Moore for starter.

I kid I kid. I'll wait til I see some preseason games to decide if I want to bash Henne(Or the other **** QBs) for real.

absolutely, now quit with the common sense already

hey Rev, remember when someone was adamantly insisting that despite your being an NFL fan first and a CFL fan second, and seeing Mr Wake up close and personal, essentially that you didn't know what you were talking about because CFL players do not transition successfully to the NFL? Well, I guess 90% of Broncos fans fall into your uninformed category as well, eh? :)

single u out because u just keep saying the same thing over. So unless u feel that Matt Ryan is the best qb in the NFL because he has the best record over the last three years quit bringing up the Broncos record last year as an indicator of him being a bad qb. I dont care about fans opinions on qb's denver fans are just as stupid as some of our fans are. The guy is clearly outplaying Tebow but these idiots want to put the lesser qb on the field kind of like the few Thigpen fans on this board who were calling for him to start. do u really think Im the only person on this board that thinks Orton is an upgrade and in fact noone has given one logical explanation why he is not an upgrade. Dan Marino went 4 years without breaking .500 in the 80's and I will step out on a limb and say he was still a good qb during that time. I guess since carson palmer has a lifetime losing record he was a bad qb .
