What do you guys think?
A Jay Feidler in the making?
A Carson Palmer (developing into an above average QB after a season on the bench)?
Any comparisons?

Thoughts or opinions...I'm confused myself.
Do we have a QB, or do we get a good #1 WR & continue our hunt for a post-Marino QB?

I'm just wondering what all DolFans think. Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

A serviceable game manager, not the next Rothlisberger, Manning, Brady, Marino, etc.
The problem isnt the player, its the philosophy.

Feidler was more of a Pennington type QB IMO. Smart with a weak arm. I don't think that you can compare them to Henne. Henne has a serious arm. He just needs to learn that he doesnt have to rifle every ball. A little touch goes a long way. That will come with experience.

Henne at this point, I would call "average" which is not bad considering this was his first real season with playing time. The jury is still out on Henne as far as the fan base goes but I think that the FO is sold on him. I expect him to get better. He needs work on his touch and reads though.

hes going to be a stud... this offseason they will work on his touch and how to let up on that big arm when needed... plus with an offseason as the clear cut #1 he's gonna light it up next year...

he will be a star...

I believe Henne is a franchise QB. Get him a healthy Ronnie Brown, a #1 WR and a better TE core and you'll see what he can do. If he chokes then obviously they'll need to address the position again.

I wouldnt crown him yet...he has shown that he is better than ray lucas, and cleo leamon at this point, and thats about it...

Jest fans are crowing about Sanchump being their franchise QB of the future, and making all sorts of excuses for his foibles and mind farts.

We've got a guy with a better record, better arm, better stats with less to work with, more maturity and doesn't cry on the sidelines. Yet for every Jest willing to forgive Sanchez his transgressions, it seems a like amount of fins fans are what I'm now calling "Hennknee jerk reactionists" Doesn't make sense.

Everything's relative but of the two, it's us whose got the future franchise QB.

this guy makes throws that make me say, "WOWWWW, what an amazing throw!"

How many other QB's have we had that have made you say that?

How many other QB's play on Sundays that make you say that?

Throws that really stand out....a deep post route to Hartline against Titans.

Deep ball to Ginn against Jets and Texans.

Any throw with him rolling right.

i said he WILL be a star, i didn't call him a star yet...

i am making a prediction... i dont need to wait and see to make a prediction, thats the point of predictions... its predicting what will happen before it happens...

and i will repeat... he will be a star

Yea Henne is going to be a good one.

Give him another year, I think we are talking about a potential Pro Bowl guy by the 2012 season.

Temp. Henne would make and was a good back up qb for us. We all see what a real qb brings in pennington. People want henne to succeed so much because we drafted him but he is average at best definately second round talent. Who are we fooling here henne has gotten all te experience in the world. Done some good things here and there. But he is not a leader. He definately desnt have it all upstairs right now and his arm strength needs to be tamed a bit. He should e smart enuff to know that u don't have to throw bullets all the time. This guy throws bullets on screen passes over dudes heads and beeming passes at tight ends and they don't even see the ball come out his hands. Henne doesn't giv us the best chance to win moving around

Hands down the best prospect we've had since Dan....remember at the end of Dan's career how he lacked a #1 receiver, and how much it hurt the team?? Thats the main issue right now, any great QB would struggle somewhat without a playmaker at WR....

He is a very good QB, going through some growin pains right now.... just saying he's better than Lucas ot Lemon is not giving Henne any credit for what he's accomplished this season

i agree with the overall sentiment, that he needs to learn the touch pass ... once that is in place, it's a good guess his completion percentage will increase along with better stats across the board... i'll admit he's left some plays out on the field due to his rifle arm... but i remain confident in all the NFL experts that are calling Henne a franchise QB ... i'll take their opinions over any of us fans!!! i'd be satisfied if Henne turns out to be somewhere between Feidler and Marino ... to me thats a damn good QB!!!

I think Henne will be a very good QB for us for a long time.

Henne is what he is....a guy who CAN make all the throws, but for whatever reason doesn;'t always make it....

He needs to learn when to take some heat of some of these passes and needs to work on the touch of the deep pass.....it's just a matter of IF he learns these things....

Way to early to tell if it's going to happen or not....

Like other posters have said....some of the throws are passes we havn't seen since #13 was back there....some of them we've seen from Lucas and Lemon and would like to never see again...

I think his biggest problem right now is that the majority of the time he's throwing it to a spot where only the reciever can get it, but the reciever generally doesn't have the seperation required to put the ball in a better spot....and some of them he just completely misses...but every QB does...

It's going to be at least another yr and a half before we have any idea what we've really got.
