Henne the starter what will that bring?????

Like it or not Henne is now the starting QB for the Miami Dolphins. For the supporters of Pennington you have to give the same support to Henne... GET behind the guy... At this point there is NO reason to say he will suck... You can't count the San Deigo game against... He did not receive the reps in practice to prepare for the game... It is never easy to just go in and find success in the NFL w/o preperation.

He could not ask for a better game to begin his career. The bills have many problems and this will not be a game that he will have to carry us... He will be able to get into the flow of the game w/o having to carry the team which should help is progression... That is a good thing for him and the dolphins...

In no way does this comment support Beck but you have to admit Henne getting his first career start against the Bills is far better then when Beck got thrown to the wolves against the Patriots...

Ultimately we needed him to play this year and with the season in doubt now is as good as time as any and we as fans need to try to support him as much as possible... Here is to the future of the Dolphins...
 
From what I've seen on this site, rather than a few exceptions, it was the Henne fans that would not get behind Pennington. I am a huge Pennington fan, but I want Henne to be awesome. Thats what fans want right? For their team to win? Now, I don't know about the future of the Dolphins thing. He hasn't proven that to me, but we will know in due time. Let's hope so!

A game is a game. Beck failed in his limited test and failed to take the reigns the following season for whatever reason. Lets hope we have better results.

Well one thing that can be said is that the penny haters oh he doesn't stretch the field blah blah blah will end very quickly cause henne goes with the deep ball very often. We will see if that works out for the better.
 
I am not sure what it will bring, but there is a definite consequence for receivers that do not produce. Henne gets the ball there quickly, so receivers better start producing yards after the catch. If a receiver cannot produce for both a very accurate passer and a strong armed passer, then he probably does not have game. Rookies will get a small exemption, and Camarillo will get a small exemption for coming back from a repaired knee. Bess and Fasano have no excuse.
 
Hopefully, he can stretch the field a little more and bring te team some wins in the process. Should be fun to watch his development.
 
I just want to see if he is our future, or whether or not we will have to draft a qb next year. I was ready for Henne to come in, just not the way it happened. We are still in a rebuild, and i look forward to seeing him develop. Looking at our schedule it looks like we will have an early draft pick this year, i just hope it will not need to be used on a QB.
