Yeah, I'm probably making a reputation for myself, but for pete's sake...
I don't know why on earth he looks so tentative and even fearful on some plays, and a gambling madman on others. I mean, that second down... I'd have to go back to the tape, but he had Haynos open, and no one really on him. He could've sent it to Haynos or, if he felt it was too risky, run it for a couple (at least). I understand the "limit mistakes" mentality, but you'll end up shooting yourself in the foot if you continue.
Then on third down, he badly overshoots Haynos. He probably saw the route was open from the previous play (yay!) but the pass was lousy.
And as always, I'll add the standard caveat: Yes, it might be the coaching/playcalling. It sucks either way.
Yes, it's not even halftime yet. It's not even midseason for Henne yet. But you have got to be kidding me with some plays...
