I know it was the Bills but this was one of the best games I've ever seen a Dolphins Offensive Coordinator call.
-No bone headed calls that make us scratch our heads!
-Continue to run the ball. Did not outsmart outselves. just pound the rock!
-Simple passing plays for Henne. only 22 passing plays for Henne. Very smart way to get a QB going.
-Loved that Hartline playcall. Moving him in motion to beat the linebacker to the corner. I've seen teams do that. It seems so simple but so effective.
-Mixing Wildcat with base run offense kept Bills guessing all game.
-Stretching the field. Henne did not complete any of the vertical passes but honestly it wasnt so important to complete them (for now) but it kept the corners and safeties a little softer.

So for all the crap we give Henning, I loved his playcalling. How freakin good is our run game. Our Oline, Running backs, Wrs all insync.

The one play I hated was the pass on 3rd and goal from the 1/2 yard line, thankfully Ronnie got in on 4th down.

ya i was gonna say that one play haha but luckily we got in on 4th

Yeah I was pretty happy with the play calling today. Anybody else get the feeling that we've saved our wildcat wrinkles for the Monday nighter against the jets? I'll bet money we see at least one big pass out of it monday...

i hope so i want to shut the jets fans up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was caught off guard with all the passes to start the game. Henning did do a great job today, he stayed out of his own way.

To be honest, I didn't really notice a huge difference in the play calling. It's just that this time the players executed. For example, if Ginn was dropped behind the line on that end around, we would be all over it today. But since it worked, noone complains.

I didn't think it was much differen't than any of the other games either. It just seemed a hell of a lot better because 1. Buffalo sucks and 2. They executed really well. If some of those screens and dump off passes failed to get any yards on 3rd and long we'd all be crying about it. Also for the life of me I CANNOT figure out why Ronnie gets taken out of the game near the goal line. He's definitely the most pwerful runner we have and our best offensive player.

ricky and ronnie share carries no matter what the situation is.

I really like the TE screen plays. We need to do more of that as well as RB screens.

Play calling was fine, it was the execution of those plays that I enjoyed the most.

There were a couple of times when they went with the Wildcat right after Henne had completed a pass down the field. How is he supposed to get in a rhythm when they do that to him??? Other than that, it was a sound gameplan. I liked the passes to start the game. Regardless of whether or not he completed them, it's key to show that much confidence in your young QB.

I think he called bad plays in the red zone

Hey I guess him mixing things up in a game catches many fans off guard and makes for questioning his play calling but that is also one of his strengths. How many of you really expect Henne to come out slinging it. You know the Bills did not. Come on we have about the best rushing offense in the league and with a rookie QB most teams would try to slowly get it going. What I have realized Henning really tries to mix it up every game to catch the other team off balance and unprepared. Their defenses come out looking to stop what worked for the Dolphins last week and they get a whole other look. Last year it seemed that one offensive player after another shined but rarely 2 weeks in a row. As far as on the goal line I cannot disagree but I believe also Henning knew it was 4 down territory and figured to catch them off guard a bit as they were ready to stuff the run.
