I hate to bash anyone on our team but...Henning calls the worst plays ever. Don't get me wrong, he hits on it here n there, but for the most part he's way too conservative, wrong plays at wrong times, & repetitive. I miss Mularkey. I know we got a lot of good plays in that book, but we just don't use them. It seems like it's about 7-8 same plays. And the WildCat, well...everyone in the world knows what's going to happen. Either Ronnie or Ricky takes the snap, and full speed ahead. It works sometimes, but when we do it over & over the D will eventually shut it down. I believe there's 15-17 plays that can be run from the WC, we seem to only use one. A reverse, a pitch, a pass, etc would be nice to see once in a while. That's what we did in NE last yr, & Houston, & Seattle. Mixed it up, & left the D baffled. The talent seems to be there, definitely with R & R, and I think Chad if I can see a pass over 7 yds. We just aren't utilizing them bc of the same play calling over & over. Too risky- No Good. Too Conservative (us) - No Good. A nice balance - Perfect. I don't know if Henning's hands are tied, but the play calling is horrific 2 of 10 plays seem to be the right calls & successful. That's not gonna get us wins. Henne has an arm from what I hear...pitch it back to him & let him air it out or just air it out on a regular pass play. The 3 yd passes give me pains in my stomach.

Here's to utilizing our talent by better play calling.
Go Phins!!!

I disagree completely. Everyone knows whats going to happen with the wildcat except for the Jets and Rex Ryan. We have shown a lot out of it tonight. This offensive game plan is great. I wouldnt complain. We are scoring against a good defense and finishing drives tonight

Go Dolphins!!

Why dont you have some faith in Parcells?

Eat some crow. The Defense has no idea what is coming. Who has the balls to put White in that game, unreal! Amazing game, amazing play calling!

Really? I don't think Ryan thinks he's such a bad OC right around now...

I'm not here to complain. But the play-calling was DEFINITELY suspect *at times*.

It worked out, but there was A LOT of times where I was perplexed with the plays we ran.

And you are the worst thread poster I have ever come across.

Did you hear Ryan whining in post game presser just like his daddy? He realy gave NO CREDIT to our coaching staff at all -- and very little to our team. In other words we lucked into the win because his great D decided to take the night off -- and genius Ryan had an off night. That's such total BS. We outplayed them and outcoached them, and the ONLY reason they were in the game was because the Refs kept tying to give them the game and they turned a couple of "lucky" cheap plays on teams. Other than that, we basically kicked their *** PHYSICALLY -- and that's the REAL STORY!

Wildcat sure looked bad tonight right? I mean, no, not really. You're wrong. And of course Henning isn't the worst OC in the league, what about the Rams OC? They've scored 34 points, IN FIVE GAMES.

Can't please 'em all though.

Henning was a mad genius tonight. He made one of the top defenses in the NFL look like chumps. My biggest complaint about henning was a lack of the wildcat late in games when we've had success with it earlier, he got it right tonight. Bringing in White was brilliant in 2 ways 1) you know the Jets want to go blitz happy and finish us like what they did to Brady at the end of the game. 2) they haven't been stopping the wildcat, on top of it now they have to respect the pass and they can't blitz.

what were we, 9-13 on 3rd down? three go ahead td drives in the 4th quarter? this is a post some girl would make who knows nothing about football. henning has prooved to be one of the best in the game.

probably my favorite call all game was in the last drive, like 3rd and 10 around the Jets 20 I think. The announcers were all talking about how Rex Ryan was blitz happy and the Dolphins needed to be ready to dump the ball quick. The pocket shift was such a perfect call! Capped by a beautiful pass.....great call :)
