Herald: Source Says Feeley To Start

The old Feidler era is over and a new one (hopefully) has begun. AJ looked great aside from the forced pass which was a picked. If he can just develop more mentally we have a very solid QB for years to come. Although we payed a 2nd rounder for him, he played like a damn good 2nd rounder if not more last game, and i expect him to more than make up for his pick we gave up as long as he doesn't have some wildly horrible outing

I'm not sure of much, but i do know that there is no way that fiedler is starting the second game. Wanny wants no part of losing, it seems to me that there is an added pressure....(NO SH**) to what is happening in so. Florida. He feels it finally and its probably coming from speilman for the 2nd round pick....after all L. gordan? he did better against the t's...anyway bengals next we're 0-1 after all i feel alot better this year losing to the titans 0-1 with this group than i did last year getting embarrased by the texans.....this team will rebound, call me a crackhead whathaveyou.....but the o line will gell feely will start and gordan will break tackles...Wannys pissed, he benched his BOY! let it be known, the D IS GOING TO DOMINATE NEXT WEEK...:fire:

Remember that this is a "source" and that we have seen a "source" tell us that the Saints game would be cancelled and that the game played today was going to be moved to Tennessee.

If this is true, I say best of luck to AJ. I'll be rooting for him to do well and to escape the sort of venom that Jay has felt in his tenure.

Look, the Fiedler era is over. Let's stop talking about "ears" and start talking about our new qb.

Agree all around.

If you need a "source" to understand that AJ is far and away the best qb on this team then you my friend need some help. I don't need any source, my 2 eyes are my source, AJ will start, end of question.

I just wish that the Fins would give Sage R. a chance. He does well if not better every preseason than the other QB's. I know he doesn't play against the other teams first stringers. All I am saying is what do we have to lose by giving him a chance.

I like Sage, but maybe it's because the preseason games are not the only measuring stick used to gauge talent. After all, wasn't it said about Feeley that he practiced like junk, but when it came to game time, he was on a different level?

Way to change the question and then condemn me for my answer.

I know that AJ has more physical tools than Jay has ever had, but this issue is more complex than that. The NFL would be a far different league if the guy with the better skills was the guy who played 100% of the time. Ryan Leaf would still be out there. Cade McNown would still be out there. Lawrence Phillips would still be out there.

I frankly don't give a hot damn if I don't pass your "AJ allegience" test. Don't let me in your fan club or whatever the hell it matters so much for.

Then you are denied admission!

AJ should start. But with Wanny as head coach that doesn't mean that will necessarily happen.
