Let me start this off by saying though I know you are looking for a QB, and though you think your WRs are not that good here is the question to think about.

How hard do you think this is for Wilford, Hagan and Ginn when they are working with a Different QB everyday in Practice?

From what I have read from you all in team drills one day Henne gets the majority of the snaps, the next it is Beck, and then McNown. Now you are adding Pennington to the mix.

What I am saying is try not to get to down on your WRs, because it must be very difficult for them seeing a different QB all the time, tough to develop rythem.

Not to mention a little harder for Wilford, coming from a different system learning this one, leaving Garrard and having to catch balls from many different tossers. That could lead to the drops dont you think?

Well, it is about to get easier for them then. Now that Pennington is here, the most accurate passer in NFL history, they will be able to develop a nice chemistry with him over the next few weeks before the regular season starts. He will likely now be taking all the first string snaps.

I agree he will be the starter. And I also do agree he throws a very catchable ball for both the WR and the CB

agreed, as long as he's healthy, Penny's the unquestioned leader and field general of the offense.

Your probably right, but I've got my fingers crossed for Henne, Pennington, Beck. On the pre-game Parcells admitted we won't be any good till sometime next year, why not start the rookie? Let him get a year under his belt.

I think there's more to it then a QB rotation. There's a new sytem, philosophy and personnel in both coaches and players. I think you are suggesting it's simply the rotation and clearly it's more then that. Sure consistency is big, and yes having one QB sure makes that eaiser, but a pass is a pass. It's isn't Brett Favre on one play and Chadd Penninton on the next. Miami is installing a new system, with new jargon. It will take some time. I also agree with Nublar that we now know who the starter is in Pennington add his experience and ability and Miami should settle down quickly.

That could be a huge worry as well.

I also do not like how he does not have the arm to utilize the entire footaball field either.

But your offense is perfect for his play, power running setting up a play action pass.

Though look at the recent tape of the Jets alot of his yards came with YAC, and not sure if you have big YAC WRs like Coles and Crotch

CADE'S BACK?!?! Wow, we really are desperate..
As long as Ronnie resists the urge to hit a woman with his SUV, we should be good. *Cough*MarshawnLynch*Cough*

I actually think the fins are going to surprise a lot of people. I think Pennington is better than a lot of people give him credit for. He is a very smart QB, and I do not see him impeding progress for Beck or Henne. I see him improving their progress. Like him or not, Pennington is a very smart QB. He can pass along his knowledge and his approach to preparation to the younger QB's. Along those lines, the very notion that people are underestimating this team is going to work to their advantage. They could very well catch people by surprise. I think keeping Pennington for 2 years while letting a QB like Henne develop is great for Miami. By all appearances, they are headed in the right direction.

Great post!

i disagree here.
Giving a quarterback time to develop to the speed of the NFL is almost a must. If we needed to start him then i would agree. But with the singing of pennington he doesn't need to. Plus we already have to see what we have in another quarterback (beck)

I can see your point. But wilford should still catch alot more than he has been. Pennington should start he (i hate to say this) give us the best chance to win right now.
