The first thing I think we should do is bring back our own, Mc Kinney and Patterson, on team friendly deals. I think this is do able by the fact that there isn’t much of a market for either of them out there.
The Pros for Mc Kinney are he can start at the RT position if you can’t find anyone to fill hole, and if you do he would be great depth at the position. He can play both rt and lt. I think that move is a no brainer.
With Patterson, when he plays he is really good, there isn’t questioning that, the problem is the when he plays. Finnagan hasn’t been good in, after he signed that 5 year deal he has been cut twice, so I think bring in another veteran CB, like Patterson is important. The major con of bring back a Patterson is it might stunt the growth of Davis and Taylor, because it might be tough for them to get playing time.
One thing that I think a lot of people are missing and not talking about is the linebackers. Last year that was the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] weakest unit on our team. And if it wasn’t for the complete melt down of our o-line, it would be a lot higher of a priority. We need help there and we need help bad. I know we have a lot of money wrapped up in those bums, but we can’t go into the season with both Ellerbe and Wheeler starting, it is going to be a recipe for disaster. The fins have a lot of money left maybe they should think about taking the cap hit this year and part ways with Wheeler, and bring in a stop gap player and figure out the situation next year.
With the draft it is simple let’s get Eric Ebron. That would give us a monster up the seam and at that position, while still having the versatile Charles Clay. If the oline holds up that would negate all the pats signing because the fins would have way too many weapons for them to stop.
So that is what I think we should do would love to hear what you guys think.

I think McKinney has never played RT nor would he want too, as he previously has stated. Wheeler needs to be upgraded but his cap position locks him in as a 53. Ebron will be gone by 19 no doubt, so not drafting him...

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think McKinnie can play RT? Bryant has played LT since his college days and it would not be easy for someone to just move from one side of the line to the other without having done that before.
