There are two sides to every arrest, and the police report of Chad Johnson's arrest Saturday night on domestic violence charges spells that out. The report states the incident began at 17:10 p.m. Saturday when Johnson and his wife, Evelyn Lozada, "returned from shopping and began taking the items she purchased into he house.”
(Lozada's name is redacted from the police report. But as she is known to be Johnson's wife and a public figure herself with a reality TV show there's no sense feigning anonymity here.)

“Johnson began screaming and (Evelyn) attempting to calm Johnson (sic) down. He began screaming, "I don't give a f---! I don't give a f--- about my career." (Evelyn) then fled on a neighbor's house to get away from Johnson. Evelyn then fled to a neighbor's house to get away from Johnson. Johnson began driving the neighborhood looking for (Evelyn)."
The officer then talked to Johnson.

“Johnson confirmed that he and (Evelyn) were arguing regarding a sales receipt. During the argument, she began yelling, "F--- it!" (She) then head-butted Johnson. This caused the laceration on her forehead. Johnson seeing how upset (she) was went for a drive to give her time to calm down."

We just traded a top 10 WR for peanuts because he was a headache, Chad has shown pretty much nothing as of right now except get in trouble.... so yeah! Makes saying goodbye alot easier I guess...

I don't care about this crap, we need him at the moment and anyone saying otherwise doesn't have a lot of knowledge of our WR corps. Hartline has questionable status at the moment, Bess is not a #1 guy and is mostly useful as a slot receiver, Roberto Wallace has promise, but again certainly not a #1.

We NEED Chad at the moment, this isn't like we have a ton of options right now. Our only other choice would be to try and pick up whatever can find in free agency right now. Garrard is hurt so we no longer have him as a trade bait to pick up a WR, like it or not at least for right now Chad is our guy. No, he doesn't fit the long term plan but if we want to win in 2012 we need him.

I don't get it at all. You don't just head but someone. Chad isn't a wife beater. IMO there is a lot they are not telling the police. I like chad and I like his work ethic. I wouldn't cut him just because of this matter unless I got the full story. Another thing I don't understand is how she doesn't even mention the head but, chad states she hits him. Sounds like a lot of missing details.

I also agree with this. Also I doubt clyde gates will make the final cut too. Chad is still good player and a decent decoy as well. I am sure this argument wasn't as hyped as the nfl and police mad it out. Also on nfl.com the article was edited twice. The first time it said she headbutted him and that HE found a receipt for condoms in HER car. After it was edited it was changed that he headbutted her and she found the receipt.

I agree, but by default he is ours at the moment, so losing him over this incident would really screw us up right now.

So it's okay to let him beat woman because we need WR"s on out team?

Chad needs the Miami Dolphins alot more than they need him at this point IMO.

Once again Ireland makes the wrong choice. Moss, T.O. nope, we get the clown!

C'mon man, I can't stand Ireland either, but if a few weeks ago there was a poll to take Ocho, TO, or Moss. Nobody would've wanted TO or Moss, it's just a hindsight thing. Those guys have both been done for years.
