Let him?? We are not him moms or his dad. The police are handling it so let them handle it. Stop trying to put your hand in people personal life. This is not Chris Brown whaling on a woman or any other type of heinous crime, it appears he lost it momentarily. Didnt Koa Misi do something even worse and no one screaming to cut his ass. The dislike for his personality that some of you have is showing. Cant go around cutting someone everytime someone makes a mistake. The degree of this mistake is not worth cutting. Let his play on the field get him cut.

I so agree with this. He didn't even beat her.

Well, I agree with #1 and have said the same thing, although it isn't a nice thing to say. As to #2, consider this from the police report:
“Johnson confirmed that he and (Evelyn) were arguing regarding a sales receipt. During the argument, she began yelling, "F--- it!" (She) then head-butted Johnson. This caused the laceration on her forehead. Johnson seeing how upset (she) was went for a drive to give her time to calm down."
He may be past his prime, but he's still the best we've got and is starting for us. He most assuredly complicates his life with his behavior and in some ways his lack of professionalism, but it would be a shame if his wife head butted him and that caused him to get cut. Say what you will about him, like him or not but by all accounts he has worked his tail off for us and is most likely our best WR, and at worst one of our best. It looks to me like he's been getting a raw deal with all of the "he head butted his wife" headlines, and sure as rain some people jump all over that and automatically condemn him.

Have you ever dated a woman at all? I dated this girl once who threw a plate of food and hit me with it. All of this after having a argument about something. I did not touch her, and if she had called the police I would have went to jail, even though she started the violence. Women are not all just innocent bystanders. I'm not saying chad is innocent but you guys should think a little more.

Actually she could of been arrested for throwing the plate of food at you, which is considered assault. If you just push a woman and you admitt that you pushed her then they can arrest you. The whole purpose is when its gotten that far, it better to call the relationship off. Thats the whole motive of police arresting for simple assaults, to prevent any further aggrevation and problems. Regardless of who hit who, that whole scenario is not cut worthy. Its just soap opera drama.
Sounds like she is the aggressor in this incident yet half the board jump to the conclusion they should cut his wife beating ass. Wanting him to be cut because he sucks I agree with. Using an incident to push an agenda without knowing the whole story is pathetic.

probably cause koa was not a finished product and still had upside...the league doesn't view guys who still have upside the same way they do aging veterans...if miami had cut koa after his run in he would have still had interest around the league...someone may have been smart enough then to realize it will never happen as a 34 olb and moved him to a traditional backer...which we finally wised up on
