for a 7-9 team, 1 notch below the Pats at #11 was too low? hmmmmm. (FWIW, the 2010 Boys and Vkings were ranked 4 and 5 respectively.. oh and the Bucs were ranked 30th) Like I said, Stevie Wonder's Scenic Highway Ranking has about as much traction as anything put out by The Bristol trolls.

Just saying people always feel like thier team is slighted. Perspective this early can be somewhat difficult and most of these take too much of previous season into account. I remember people getting hyped on us a few years ago and we greatly dissapointedand noone in 2007 predicted us to be the worst. we had a top 5 defense so who would have thought we could lose 15 games.

I know it's pointless to cry about the rankings, but all we have right now is play-by-play of practice plays on Twitter, and there's nothing better to do.

24th? Really? I think we're clearly better than the Raiders, Cardinals, Jags, Seahawks, and Titans, and possibly a couple other teams. We have QB problems, but so does half the league.

And the Jets are 7th? Let's compare teams: Dolphins have a potentially great defense with a lot of talent. Jets have a potentially great defense with a lot of talent. Dolphins have skill at the WR and RB positions. Jets have skill at the WR and RB positions. Dolphins have a mediocre-to-bad young QB. Jets have a mediocre-to-bad young QB. But they're 17 spots apart?

Geez, get over it... We were terrible last season. We didn't exactly match the Eagles in talent acquisition this offseason. Where do you think we should really be ?? Besides, the power rankings accomplish almost nothing... No story here...Breath deep and exhale...

We deserve it. We have a huge question mark at QB, and a offensive coordinator that was brought over from a team that had a worse offense than the Dolphins had last year. It's a what have you done for me lately league, it is what it is.

Bills not bottom that's a win for them.

You guys are ranked too low. You're right smack in the middle of the league: somewhere between 14 and 18. Take solace in the fact that any preseason ranking must be heavily based on the previous year's performance. You can't take a team that finished below .500 and put them in the top 12 in the next year's pre-preseason power rankings. Come on, it's a pre-preseason "power ranking."
