Please STFU Rex Ryan! Although I do think he is a far better coach the Philbin, but man, mark my words, Bills have top Defense, with Rex Ryan, it will be an elite Defense, hate on that all you want but it is what it is.......... UNTIL THEY GET A QB

Philbin better coach the sh!!!!!T out of next year. I still can't stand him as a coach.

There defense was sick this year, If they can miraculously land a legit QB they will be a Baltimore Ravens type team for awhile and that is unfortunate.:(

I agree, and with our luck they probobly might find a game manager QB and then BOOM. Playoffs.

C'mon you guys actually fear this buffoon? Haha. Aren't many of us the same that were hoping the Jets held on to Ryan so we would have more years of awfulness? I know I was.

the buffoon that has more playoff apps than Miami has as a franchise since 2002, the buffoon that has more playoff wins than Miami as a franchise since 1995, the buffoon who has more title game apps than Miami as a franchise since 1987? that buffoon?

The buffoon did great with the last coaches players...not so good with his own.

I think he will do the same for the first 2 years again...but will tail off when he starts getting his own.

the last coach wasn't the GM and neither is Rex, he had much more success w/ the players that were there and they brought in a ton of new talent as well.

You guys would kill for 6 years like Rex just had.

I think the bills are in a worse cap situation than we are, and some key defensive players are UFA.

Jerry Hughes is their only expensive FA this season. They would like to extend Marcell Dareus, too, but he's still under contract through 2016. CJ Spiller is a FA, but I'm NOT sure if they'll go out to keep him. I think he'd like to stay.

The Bills have something like $20 million in cap space, I think, too.

Buffalo is in great shape for this season assuming they can get a competent QB which I think they will. I even think they could be a playoff team w/ Manuel.

I think the plan is to shore up the OL however that can be managed: bring in some FAs, move guys around, institute a different blocking scheme, whatever it takes. They want to be a run-first, ground and pound offense backed up by a wicked good defense like the Niners with Alex Smith/first year starter Colin Kaepernick in 2011 and 2012.

I can see the Bills adding at least one top FA OG, possibly a versatile veteran TE like Germaine Gresham or Charles Clay, and possibly a big, speedy RB. I see them adding one or more of these same positions in the draft.

They'll bring in a FA QB to compete with Manuel, but I'm NOT sure who that might be right now. They need a guy who makes good decisions and takes care of the ball, and Manuel might be good enough. If EJ can step up and be at least as good as Dalton or Tannehill, that's more than good enough.

yeah, same bafoon that guaranteed 2 super bowls and failed. same bafoon that has the same win/loss percentage as the coach in Miami, despite all those awesome playoff wins. guy is a good DC. So far, his HC resume is below average. you can go ahead and compare him to Miami's HC all you want. Like that's supposed to be some high standard, or that anyone is saying philbin is any better. that's all you got.
