What's sad is that I heard Mike had a very good recruiting season and has probably set Nick up to succeed.
If Mike was a snake like Saban, he would have called every one of those recruits and encouraged them to de-commit. But he's a better person than that.
Nick was making 4.5 mil a year while here. He will be making 4 mil a year at Alabama. Granted, he only had 3 years left on his contract here, and has 8 years on his Bama contract. However, if he has any confidence in his ability to coach, he was in a better position by staying in Miami. In 3 years, when his origional Miami deal would have ended, I'd wager that even average college coaches will be making close to 4 mil a year. by the time Nick's Bama contract is up, he will be making money in the bottom 1/2 of all college coaches. I doubt he'll be there after 3 or 4 years anyway. You should know that.dont be mad at him for going to alabama. he made a career decision that put him in a better position. he was made for college football anyway. Besides that, i you made 5 or 6 million and someone offered you 35 million that would be a no brainer. who said pro football coaches were loyal anyway? the only football coaches that are loyal are high school coaches because they do it for the love of the game, making 50000 a year tops. yall should know that
