Good thinking!

I HATE Wanny... I HATE looking at him on the sidelines.. I HATE reading the crap quotes in the newspaper and I even HATE that stupid *** porno mustache he wears...

But... I do think he has learned that being conservative may not be the answer....

DW will strike again this year, more conservatively than ever. Run up the middle, Run up the middle, Dump Pass, Punt.

"Many observers believe Foerster, who was a tight ends coach with the Colts last year, got the coordinator job because Wannstedt can keep a tight leash on him. If so, that means even more conservative play calling."

Here's the link.

http://www.foxsports.com/content/view?contentId=2447962

The article also says:

"Foerster is a fine assistant coach with 11 years of experience in the NFL, but the Dolphins need to change their offensive philosophy -- and that doesn't seem likely."

A leopard doesn't change his spots.
We can only hope

Listen, could the reason for Wanny being conservative on offense have anything to do with the fact that the offensive personnel has generally stunk the last few years??

Who here would have wanted to see Jay Fiedler behind that offensive line chucking the ball 35 times a game?? It's hard to execute a play-action pass when your offensive lineman struggles just to sustain a block. It's equally difficult when you're quarterback doesn't throw with much velocity and isn't overly accurate to begin with. And the trifecta becomes complete when you only have one WR capable of getting open.....and he's double-teamed.

When the OL becomes better, when the QB play gets better, and someone else is able to get open, then Wanny won't be quite as conservative. We will execute our bread-and-butter plays with far greater success. And as a result, we will have the luxury of taking more chances and getting creative.

Still, the new offense is supposedly in place. The whole point of not bringing in another OC was to keep that offense in place. So we shall see what happens.

All good points, Muck. But none if it matters if Feidler stats again.

I disagree. DW knows this could be his last season. He knows how the fans in Miami react to conservative playcalling. He knows what his conservative play calling has gotten him in the past. Nowhere. Dave knows. He knows what he has to do to take this team far. God damnit, this team will go deep into January. I don't care what any media A HOLE says, or anyone else who doesnt like our chances. We will succeed. Book it, mark it, bold it, italicize it, and lets come back to my post when its snowing outside and the super bowl is on TV. Blah!

I nominate this for Best First Post. You only lose that posting cherry once, and you can never alter the fact that yours was all about... pudding. LOL

Welcome to FinHeaven, fellow Jerseyan.:)

Wow, really? That's proof? Man, I'd hate to have you as a juror in any case I was trying. :shakeno:
