Is the kid is already set up to be the leader .. whether he starts or not .. he's already got a firm grasp on the play book so even if he doesnt start .. he's still able to teach and help take control .. all the cards have been dealt . lets not tip our hand and play this right

I could be wrong but I think a little too much is being made about Tannehill knowing the playbook. QB's learn new offenses all of the time in 1 off season and I'd find it hard to believe that Moore and Garrard won't have a firm grasp of the playbook by the time TC starts. All of that being said though I still hope Tannehill outplays Moore and Garrard in the offseason and sets the league on fire as a rookie, I mean one can only dream can't they?

There is not to much being made of it. Now that he know the playbook he can concentrate on other thing that he needs work on. It does not mean he will be successfull but it helps.

Exactly, when a young QB reaches the NFL, he has so much on his plate, that it actually slows his progress, but when you already know the offense, all that is left is to get used to the speed of the defenses, and get used to the timing of your receivers. IT also does not hurt that the QB in question is also very smart, and wants to become a surgeon when he is out of football.

Personally I would also bring his wife to all big games, get her tickets right smack in front, and have her distract the opposing team as long as possible.

Geez, what do you mean about him having a firm grip on the playbook?

Front row seating in the owners box for sure.

You're criticizing HER?! Look at your avatar for crying out loud

Lmfao......dude you're in Indiana, nuff said. You have NO IDEA the caliber of girls I reel in here in south Florida. Yes, she is ugly to me. But hey, it's cool if you think she's hot. It was just an observation/opinion. Let it go! Lol

turning it into success wasnt the point i was making .. but helping the people who are struggling with verbage or understanding it puts who in a leader roll and instills confidence in your collegues

Local is semi-important I guess and means so much. Nice shirtless picture with a well-trimmed goatee! I'm sure that hat and whole get up gets you ALL the chicks.

His leadership and character is the kicker here. They knew deep down that this kid has the goods. You see it in Grudens camp. The kid is just on top of it cus he eats the stuff up all day. right now he is looking at film of teams in the division i bet and looking at things like backpeddling of cb's and safeties. Whatever this kid needs to know, you know damn well he is going to get it. He will be a leader simply for this alone. When he shows a WR where he needs to be, that will create the timing to be perfect every time over time. This offense will be predicated on that bigtime.

The great thing about him knowing the playbook so well is that it will make it much easier for him to send in the plays to Matt Moore.
