The Miami Dolphins have traded up to the 97th overall pick with the San Francisco 49ers, selecting Lamar Miller here.
Many people had the former Miami running back as a first-round pick and the second best at that position behind Trent Richardson. While his fall is stunning, you have to worry about possible injury issues. Either way, it is a great trade for the Dolphins. Miller can now team up with Daniel Thomas and Reggie Bush in the backfield.
The Dolphins paid a hefty price, however. They sent the 103rd pick, a sixth rounder in 2012 and another sixth rounder in 2013 to move up a few spots. This is the second time the 49ers have traded down and have now acquired two extra pick in the 2013 draft.
