here's what we traded for Miller

Late round picks are about as likely, if not less so, to yield diamonds in the rough as are UFAs. IMO a wonderful move at reasonable cost to secure the BPA and a potential game changer both behind the LOS and on STs!

Agreed 197%. If the phins made such terrible moves (depending on your opinion) w/ Tannehill or Vernon or Miller then what do you call the brain farts by Seattle and Washington?
 
Good trade... 6th round pick don't make most teams. L. Miller allows us to have a similar type of player to R. Bush if he gets injured. It also allows us to move Reggie to WR quite a bit this season.

Last time I looked we did not have a true #1 or #2 WR..lol. Reggie is our best WR right now on this team. I hope Miami finds a gem or pulls off a good value trade for a WR before the season starts.
 
Good trade, what makes anyone think Ireland would have gotten a starter with either of those 6s? He took the bpa and I think we will use him heavily in the coming season.

I agree 100%...

(2) 6th round picks for a chance at a game changing RB? WTF fellas... Give the jerk Ireland some props on this one. This is one of the better deals of the draft after the 2nd round. Miami gets great value for guys that most likely would have been cut. Sure there are some great talent found in the 6th round or 7th round...but they are few and far between. We took a chance on a great talent and gave up nothing for it in my eyes.

I think the Ravens or Redskins would have taken him before us... Just my thoughts on it.
 
So now we have two injury prone RBs...........

Still, the draft is crazy, I still have 3-5 targets possible. All in all, i would have taken RB Chris Rainey in the 6th. Fastest football player in this draft.
 
ill take the trade 2nd round talent i like the pickup now hopefully we do something similar for wide out
 
Mcnutt will be around in the fifth too probably. Who cares anyway, we got 1sthim rd talent in rd 4. How many 1st rd talentts at wr are available now. This was a damn good pick. Mcnutt or boykin are my next hopeful targets..
