Here's why Oakland Raiders fans are flipping to the Miami Dolphins

Someone edited Ross' Wikipedia page after the vote to read: "On March 27 2017, he was the only major NFL owner who voted to keep the Oakland Raiders in Oakland. Because he's a saint."

The Wikipedia entry has since been deleted. Since Ross' move, several posts have popped up on social media signaling a fan mobilization from the Bay Area to South Florida.

The Dolphins and Raiders have made very similar progress over the last decade. Last season, the Dolphins made the playoffs for the first time in eight years. The Raiders made the playoffs for the first time since 2002. Both teams finished second in their respective AFC divisions after years of mediocrity.

And to think it was roughly a year and a half ago that I was considering jumping ship for the Raiders. Ugh seems silly now doesn't it.

I'm from the Bay originally and 2 of my Raider fan friends changed their profile picture to the Dolphins logo on FB lol

And yet there's an article saying Ross voted that way because he's rich enough that he paid himself when the public wouldn't fund stadium upgrades. Mark Davis doesn't have the money to do that so he had to find somewhere with public funding.

So definitely not a saint, more like an ultra rich guy flexing his muscles at a not as rich rich guy.

Not that I mind, bring on the fans and Ross has the right to vote how he wants to.
