Here's Why Sports Journalists HAVE To Talk About Tua - Video

lol….. the reason they’re talking more about him is because of T Hill.

That wasnt predictable at all...lol!
If T Hill went and played with any of the QBs he mentions, those guys would be talked about as much as Tua is now. That’s predictable…🤣🤣🤣

I said this a while back, it's all about the clicks in order to generate revenue

Not sure if the "hatred" for Tua is all about data driven negative marketing. Sure, some of this is plausible.

IMHO there is a growing anti-Christian sentiment that is permeating our society. Very much like Tim Tebow, who was a very polarizing QB, Tua seems to attract the same anti-Christian criticism.

Prior to Tua, I was a very much anti-Alabama and anti-Saban. If fact, I'm certain most of the SEC and most of the country is tired of Alabama's dominance in college football.

Finally, the media which has an overwhelming New York presence has a strong role in the negative opinions. It doesn't help that we have an inept owner and 2 decades of losing.

THIS IS ALL OK, TUA'S TIME IS COMING. HE WILL RISE ABOVE THIS FRAY AND SOON ALL THESE DETRACTORS WILL BELEIVE.

If what we are seeing from Tua in practice translates to regular season games, the hate will fade away. For now the many that discount him point to the evidence from his 1st and 2nd season tape. They ignore the facts such as his recovering from a potential career ending injury, poor supporting cast a majority of the time, and a coach that never supported him and set him up to fail. The future is bright for this young man, may he realize his true potential and prove the naysayers wrong. Fins up!

Can’t thing if once instance where Tua’s faith is mentioned in ANY of the stuff I’ve watched. Not ONCE!

How Tua “Displays” his faith on the national stage is WAY different than how Tebow did/does.

Further to show that your post is invalid relates to other NFL players that reportedly have strong religious affiliation and don’t receive the same treatment is Carr for LA.

I won’t go on.

Yeah, I not only haven't seen anyone in the media reference religion, but no one I talk to in my daily travels through life have ever brought it up either. Everyone I know, other than extremists, are pretty accepting of an individual's right to pray as he/she sees fit, atheists included. It doesn't hurt them (or anybody), so why would a reasonable person care?

I also agree that Tebow seemed to be "pushing it" at times. The face paint aside, Tua doesn't feel the need to mention it in every interview, and at every opportunity like Timmy did. Anyway, didn't he stop with the crosses on his face after the first few games?

I think there’s a few reasons why the press is so negative about Tua. I think the main reason is because he is not perceived as a ”tools” guy. He doesn’t fit their preconceived notion of what a NFL QB should look like. They think the only way to have success at this level, you have to be 6’4” and have a arm that can throw a ball through a brick wall. Another reason is because of the team he went to. A lot of people in the media look at the Dolphins as a dysfunctional organization with a dysfunctional owner. And lastly, the “woke” media can’t cope with the firing of a minority head coach in Brian Flores, so they are secretly hoping Tua fails because if Tua is a success, it will reflect negatively on their sacred cow Flores for the way he handled and developed Tua.
