Anyone catch the segment on his latest press conference? He had a sheet printed out titled "How the Jets Win" and on it it said stuff like "Hold on to the ball/Take it away" and he held it up to the camera and told the media this is hte Jets gameplan and always has been..

It seemed a bit corny to me.. Almost Wanny-esque.Thoughts?

haha i thought the lobster trap idea was clever...but it was obvious that when the players saw it they had no clue what it was.

Herm better work on getting them pumped up because Saban is going to try and jump on them early. They are down, now only if we can kick them before they can get up.

The lobster trap was a good idea, pretty creative. I think he needs one for his team in Pitt now. Gosh he kills any program he coachs.

If that is the Jets gameplan we have won already. Saban showed last week how well he can prepare a team. Even IF the Jets were a better team Miami will have a REAL game plan to beat them. They better have a real good one as well.

i love watching hermies press conferences, he gets so worked up. reminds me of jim mora.

Nothing compares to Jim Mora's press conferences. I remember one that went something like: Playoffs? I think we'll be lucky to win one more game this season let alone make the playoffs. It was hilarious.

definetly Wanny-esque

I don't like Hermie as a coach and I think that is what holds down the Jets progress in becoming a great team sometimes.

i think you are right about saban hitting them early. If we score a few their confidence will be shattered!!!!! We need to hit em early and hit em hard!

I thought the TD flip was on a home opener against Tennessee on Sunday Night Football?
