Pay Bill Parcells the 12 million as promised in his contract as part of the sale and then re-sign him to a new contract for the Miami Dolphins!

He had a deal with Huizienga and you all knew he was selling. Bill Parcells has done a great job turning your new organization around.

Pay him the money, and re-sign him for the next 4 years at whatever the asking price is for one of the best Minds in Football. Give him an out clause that would be fair in the market he has just set.

Bill can still play golf, watch spring training, and keep rebuilding this franchise...Everybody Wins!!!

Here's a better idea (IMO). Give Parcells a percentage interest in the team equal to the $12 million and then keep him on at the same salary. As a part owner we wouldn't have to worry about him leaving and it would help Ross raise the capital he needs to buy out Wayne.

exactly. he shouldnt pay him the full 12. just a percentage.

Ross is buying the 95% stake in the Dolphins so he basically is liable for all the contracts the Dolphins are in. One of those contracts is $12 million owed to Parcells. I don't know why Parcells would work 3 years at $4 each when he can take the whole $12 million and go to Detroit after the season ends. It would take nothing short of geneous to have Parcells stay another year or two.

here is an even better idea . Parcells stay at what you are getting paid geesh.

Im all for this......the man deserves a raise.......Do what ever needs to be done in order to keep the Tuna..........because if the Tuna goes so does this FO and coaching staff. He will pick apart the coaching staff by offering them promotions and he will do the same for the FO and scouting dept. This organization he is building is too young to handle this type of move and we would be back to winning 3-8 games a year within two years.........Pay the Man

A better idea!!!!!! I think this is what Parcells truly wants is ownership......

Why does parcells deserve a raise. We paid him pretty damn big money. So should we give Sparano a raise to 6 million a year and so on. lets not act like Parcells signed a bargain basement deal

I wish all of this would have stayed under the rug. why does this have to come up now?

I agree. I think it's definately a distraction to Sparano and the players. When asked about it he just said, I won't talk about that. Same thing Parcells says.
