Hey, Hey, A postive article.. wow!

It remains to be seen what owner Wayne Huizenga’s expectations are for this season. Does he still expect a playoff berth, or is a winning season enough? And is he looking to make a run at LSU’s Nick Saban (as rumored) next offseason, or is he willing to let Wannstedt finish the final two years of his contract?

Saban!, Saban!, Saban!

LOL, I have said since the offseason I want Nick Saban so it is nice to hear it has ben rumored Wayne will make a run at him.

wow its about time someone actually looked at the team/game and see what we all see, the possibilities and the upside of our new starters, instead of being like all these other people who are like, oh the dolphins got killed, its gonna be a long season, they dont even have a QB, blah blah

Hey, hey what do you know? First positive article I've read in a while. He put into words what optimistic Dolfans have been saying.

This was someone in my opinion who understood what was going on with this team. He sees the upside like the rest of us. Now we knew the key to the team was the OL, and it still is. Get that part of this team going right, the skill positions will take care of itself. This can be an exciting year if they keep improving. AJ 176 in a half, he he, Jay use to get that in a whole game. At the rate he was going Saturday he was on schedule for 86. AJ at least made the stats look respectable.

168 yards in one half in his first game in what? 20 some months? pretty damn impressive as far as i'm concerned!!! He was on pace for 336 yards if he'd played the whole game. Has Fiedler ever eclipsed 300?

The guys at PFW are known for going against the grain a bit and thinking "outside of the box". The article was a nice spin on what can universally be viewed as an inept offense. However, they are right - guys like Feeley and Gordon bring youth and hope to a team that desperately needs both.

Heres for hoping.

damn.. i think im gonna cry.... someone said something nice....
but i totally believe it... This team is gonna gain strength.. and feeley is gonna be a winner

Fiedler threw for over 300 yds. against the Jets one time...(I'm not sticking up for Jay, as i wish he would take a permanant seat on the bench, I'm just stating a fact.)

Wow....and I thought I was kidding myself watching the game, when I was thinking that they had potential on offense. Something to look forward to maybe!

I like this.....

"Interestingly, for a team that has traditionally faded as the season wears on, this Dolphins team has the potential to be substantially better later in the season. Remember that Feeley has only five NFL starts under his belt, Gordon still has to prove he can be the featured back, Booker has been on the team for only a few weeks, offensive coordinator Chris Foerster is still new at calling plays, and the offensive line still isn’t done sorting itself out, with the return of free-agent OT Damion McIntosh (ankle) expected to strengthen the front five."

I'll take some early season lumps if the team finishes strong!!

cowboy game last year was a 300 plus outing i believe but i could be wrong

As much as I hate columns, it is nice to read something not so negative all the damn time.
