HEY LOOK A PFT: Ryan Clark says nobody wants to play for Dolphins Thread

some people don't take kindly to other players being asked if their mom's a ho-beast. what can ya do? doesn't mean he isn't a top gm. just have to work hard to clean up the public image. (i'm sure not paying clark what he wanted when he was an FA didn't help, but i think he had his mind made up on ireland/wanting to return to the steelers before he even visited here)

I swear you guys are out of control. You act like these players don't have a horse in this race.

How can this be news to any of you, that players that don't get the money they want in fact sometimes act like children and say things to vent their frustrations?

Wait, I guess you do know that, and are simply posting something that supports your opinion of Ireland...

So its always the player that spurns us that makes stuff up or maybe just maybe they are not that impressed with our fo. None of us know the answer either way

Ireland needs to go. I don't get the ton of hate for Ross because I think it's Ireland who is unlikable and repels people away.

Please.. I hate Ireland as much as the next guy but money is money and these players do not report to Ireland. He's landed several big deals so far and several players have re-signed to stay in Miami. So yes, Ireland is a snake, but the money is there and Ross is willing to spend, but only spend on true value.

Ryan Clark is a pro bowl S why are some of you acting like he's a no name? You guys are really pushing it to try to invalidate the opinion of a player who actually went through the FA process with Ireland. I don't know how much more evidence you could need.

Ohhh.....Well if Ryan Clark says so then I guess everyone must hate the idea of being a Dolphin. I agree that we are getting chewed up and spit out by the media but let pieces fall into place as they will. This front office like it or not has a plan and there is nothing you or I can do to change it.

I have no idea about always when it comes to players. It is however, IMO common sense to doubt a players opinion of someone who basically low balled them, or what they considered to be a low ball offer.

Now if you want to think that plays no role in any of this, more power to you captain.

He's free to have any opinion he wants.

Doesn't make it truth.

Have you ever disliked someone that someone else liked?

i honestly feel like if we had a different gm half the players we interviewed would have picked us...i doubt it has much to do with money...you come in feeling like miami wants u...and how great it would b to play for and live in miami then ireland ends up making u feel like he doesnt really need you.."tell us why u wanna play for us type interviews?" he prolly asked flynn all kinds of irelevant questions that just turned him off completely, then low balled em and told him that what he was worth...horrible, but if thats your philosphy fine but im sure hes not doing it the right way..whatever he is doing its not the right way...someone needs to check him...or else the road to destruction has already been paved.

It's pretty clear that the way this front office presents itself, and communicates to prospects is a major problem. It's a common theme we have continued to hear since the first day they showed up.

You have to agree with that whether you believe in there football philosophies or not.

is this the oprah show? we lowballed him. end of story.
