Hello,

I am sick to heard our beloved dolphins owner tell us...........we will catch a big named coach, the young shula, a coach with loyalty to our organisation ect........and for the second year the result is a big zero.

So, we are the looser of the offseason coaching search (and sorry guys but don't tell me that fisher wasn't the best coach available since cowher and gruden not returning on coaching).

I can see only two solutions to avoid an empty stadium for the first game next season :

1/ Forget the brian billick incident and call him immediatly

2/ take a big risk for perhaps a big gain.........put Mike Shula HC with 2 very solid coordinators.

Else, I'am very afraid you will loose the entire fan base with your biased decision to keep Ireland in the back of a coach who doesn't want him.

bye

What is the Brian Billick incident? I haven't heard of it, but I know he has come across as kind of an arrogant jerk to certain people. I DO wish we would interview the guy. He would definitely be a guy to consider. Offensive mind, too.

So a coach with 6 winning seasons in 17 years is the best coach available? Just because he has a big name, doesn't mean he is a good coach.

I still want to know what makes Jeff Fisher this giant coaching guru who deserves to be put among the top coaches n the NFL? Please enlighten me

I for one think Ross will come out ahead in the long run despite media manipulation. Fisher was merely the only coaching candidate that had head coaching experience. That is the reason he was the top candidate. He was a name that people were familiar with and that's it. We need a young hungry coach and I'm sorry but we can do better than Fisher in that department. I'm amazed that some people are disappointed that we didn't hire a coach that never wanted to be here in the first place and clearly used the Fins as leverage, so I for one applaud Mr. Ross. Now let's continue our coaching search and bring in the right person for the job not just the familiar name!

I think the real sentiment here is that our organization has been paraded in front of the media and snubbed by a "big name coach" 2 years running. Basically, its one thing to be turned down on a marriage proposal. It's another thing to be turned down in front of 75,000 people on the jumbotron.

I think it's pretty obvious Harbaugh chose the 49'ers over the Phins because he wanted to stay on the west coast. What Ross did was not uncommon as far as how owners go after coaches. What was uncommon was how the info was leaked out.

As far as Fisher, please. He would be a moron to take the Phins job over the Rams job. They are the perfect franchise for a new coach to take over. A #2 draft pick, no GM, tons of cap room and a owner who is willing to spend $ on that cap space.

People can take your POV, it's their choice. IMO it's not a very informed POV.

Billick cost Ross an extra 40 million during the sale of the franchise, plus he said some crappy things about Ross in one of his books.
Someone should ask Ray Lewis of his opinion of Billick..I would go along with his assessment.

Like Fisher or not, and i could care lees about him personally, but this organization has egg on its face once again.

ok lets do the right thing MR.ROSS we need to do what it takes to land our franchise QB.i cant believe any of the fans will want your head if you go for it
