I'm angry! There's no other way to put it. Nick should have never taken this job to begin with. I'll say one other thing. He better win at 'Bama. He hasn't seen ugly yet but he will if he is not successful with the Tide.

I don't hate the guy, but I have to admit, I'd get a certain sense of satisfaction from seeing him flop miserably at Alabama. Maybe it would teach him a lesson about the "grass is greener on the other side" thing and the dangers of taking such a mercenary approach to his career.

I hope he doesn't win a game next season, personally. :)

I think he learned that lesson already. That's why he left

I'm pretty pissed at Alabama for meddling with UAB's coaching search. I don't wish him ill will, one thing is for sure, expectations are much higher at Alabama than the Dolphins.

That meddling makes alot more sense now doesn't it. What are the chances Fisher ends up on Alabama's staff?

Nick Saban will NEVER be confused for Bear Bryant. Bear Bryant was not a liar, but was a man of integrity. I hope the Crimson Tide don't get fooled by this slick oil salesman....hope you get what you paid for.

well he will not win a national title-he will win a couple of bowl games because he is a great coach but not a N. title-and he will def not work out his contract-he will be gone in 4 years

I'm with you Doc! I'm not mad that he's gone. I just mad at the way that he left. If he thought that this was something that he might be interested in he should have come forward and said so. That would have given us time to make better preparations for his possible departure. It still may all turn out for the best but he's a jerk for the manner in which he left town.
