Neither.....we need Dline Secondary and LB's..the trenches...Why get another Rook WR...We have Ginn, BEss, Camarillo.....IF we get a WR..We need a VEt..Like a Torry HOlt or a Antonio Bryant
of the two i'd take nicks but would rather go OLB. nicks looks like he's more capable of coming in and contributing immediately.
If we go WR..which I don't think we will..but if we did, I'd go with Nicks.

Why not?
Darrius Heyward-Bey could be a possibility, but I do not believe that we can count on Nicks in the first round. He is potentially a second round choice IMO.
Personally, I don't like any of them and hope we will go other ways before thinking about that position.

why does everyone want another linebacker?!!! We only have 6 of them
porter, ayodle, anderson, torber, wake, roth. how many more do you guys want where is roth gonna play? how about wake? cmon guys use ur heads here. the only other position other than wr that we meed is our secondary!!!

I think if we got someone like Sintim, you could pencil him in opposite Porter.

and bench roth and wake we need an inside linebacker most likely a free agent signing
lots of reasons. the main is we need consistent pass rush from both sides and wake is still a question mark, at best. roth was serviceable but isn't the prototypical edge rusher you need for the 3-4 to fire on all cylinders.
anderson, ayodele, torber, and moses are depth.
our secondary instantly improves with a consistent pass rush.

u guys honestly believe that u need a bunch of linebackers. have u guys thought about d-ends, d-tackles a mediocre secondary no standout wr. cmon man think about 3-4 defenses u dont need 10 pass rushers. the draft is deep with lbs anyway we can get one in the 2nd or even 3rd round.

and to those who say we already got a 1st round wr in ted ginn please remember who drafted him. plus he WAS a waste of that pick!!!
we're fine at DE. NT could use some bodies but would rather wait til the later rounds. secondary definitely needs help and will be addressed, probably early. WR is a need but not a critical one, with pennington at the helm at least.
we don't have 10 pass rushers. as of right now, we have one good one. LB - specifically OLB - is the premier position in the 3-4 and it doesn't work right without 2 elite pass rushers on either side. remember, you can never have too many linebackers in the 3-4. we just need some good ones. crowder and porter are the only 2 that played well enough to be penciled in as starters next year IMO.
