I could live with that, much love. You hit all the needs (minus TE unless you have a theory on that) and hoped for a drop of some prospect that might (and usually do) happen. The conundrum of the draft at the moment for a lot on here actually doesn't seem to be the first pick (because this is to obvious), but if the Giants will take a CB or a LB. I personally think they go LB with the losses they took and take Connor. They have always in recent years had a need at CB, but in none of those years have they lost 2 of their top playmakers at one position

is taht ur own mock? if so i love it. Long is nice, Connor not bad but id look else where, branch the kid i like a lot also the guy from E. Kentucky or what not hes a under the radar CB there. Greco nicee campbell etc. all nice solid picks with potential to be good/very good.

Flowers is in ur mock and i like the kid but i think miami is REALLY high on the guy. fits almost EXACTLLLLLLLLLLLY TO what our regime loves in players. id expect him at 32 or 57 which i doubt he falls to.

nice post- few things id change though, be interested to see your reasoning etc..

IMO - Patriots would take mckelvin over jenkins,
carolina take a RB (mendenhall?)
Eagles take a WR (Jackson?)
and seattle definitely dont pass on balmer.

What are your thoughts?

This link is a good read on why the Giant's arn't really a good fit for Connor. http://mvn.com/nfl-giants/2008/04/06/why-the-giants-will-not-take-dan-connor/

I also think if they take Smith they may convert him to Safety.

yeah I am beginning to agree with you. I am trying to get a read on a few players and where they might fall before I update again. I am keeping an eye on Sweed. Rumors we will fall out of the first. If so I am switching to Jake Kong, I mean Long, at #1 and Sweed at 2a. Then putting someone like king at 2b

We all know the Patriots are unpredictable and unorthodox in their way of doing things but I feel they will take Jenkins as the #1 CB. Bill Belichick worked out Mike Jenkins himself at USF and I think he reminds thema bit of Asante Samuels.

For the Eagles, I was tempted to give them a WR but we all know Andy Reid likes to draft for the trenches and Albert is just too good to pass up for that OLine.

Seattle and Balmer is a good fit, but the latest rumors going around are that the Seahawks are enamored with Dustin Keller and are hoping he drops to their pick.

Have seen a few mocks that have a WR going to the Boys but I just dont see that happening, espically when they have Glenn, Owens and Crayton. If they dont get Pacman from the Titans they will go CB, if they do I see them going RB, most likely felix Jones.

Have to say I like your Fins mock apart from your third round selection. Would rather see us going WR/TE with that pick personally

I think the Cowboys want to draft a RB with one of their picks and a WR/CB with the other, but WR is something they certainly need depth at with Glenn getting old.

As for my Dolphins mock, my old mock had us taking Caldwell instead of Branch but after looking at the list of WR's being scouted/brought in by the Dolphins it seems that they are targetting a late round WR like Harry Douglas, Adrian Arrington, D.J. Hall, Will Franklin, or Duvaughn Flagler. I think they are mostly looking to pick up a guy with potential that can come in and play the slot for them if need be. Guys like Caldwell, Doucet, Thomas have been scouted but I think we need to address our bigger needs in the middle rounds. TE is a position I hope we'll draft but I honestly couldn't find anywhere to fit one in. I think the front office is hoping somebody from this deep draft class drops to the 6th round or they may even take one in the 4th. But your right, if I had to find a flaw or something I didn't like about my mock, it would be the fact that the TE position goes unadressed.
