I have heard completely opposite reports about his "eye for talent" from other sources. And from my perspective, if he is buddies with Philbin, that is nothing but bad news considering his buddies like Sherman were the major reason we failed this year.

True, I suppose that is positive. Although, it seems like Dawn seems to align herself with anyone that will be her life raft. If things start to go south, I could see her turning on Philbin to save her neck

Yeah well Sadam, Uday and Qusay wre in it together too! A alliance means nothing! In this we have tweed lie clueless, tweed lie bad coach and tweed lie backstab!

From some of the pressers I've seen, Hickey seems to be an effective communicator and a good PR man - which this team hasn't had for a very long time. It will be refreshing to have someone that's not holding the media in contempt all the time now. I also think Hickey's temperament will match Philbin's, they should work well together imo.
