Looks like a Wallace trade is very possible, no one will confirm he is returning

There are a ton of players under contract for next year, as well as free agents, with a question mark after their name; Hartline, Gibson, Wheeler, Ellerbe, Starks, Finnegan, Wallace, Delmas, Odrick, Clay and Moreno all come to mind. I'm guessing you would get the exact same answer from Hickey if you asked about any one of them.

Funny how when Ross states they don't know if Wallace will be back the board goes into an uproar about our "idiot owner releasing our secrets/offseason plans". Now the GM says the exact same thing because they are still reviwing things and there isn't a peep. Typical Finheaven.
 
Eh....

I think at this point Hickey is looking at the cap and looking at the future contracts of Pouncey and most important Tannehill.

You could ask him the Wallace question about any other over-paid veteran and probably get the same answer.

Wheeler, Ellerbe, Hartline, Gibson, Fields, Garner, Wallace....etc

Delmas, Odrick, Clay and Moreno are not under contract for 2015, but I get your point

He is not going anywhere. You can debate "Franchise QB" all you want but he is THIS franchise's QB and for me that is the definition of "Franchise QB".

Hopefully we should have a pretty good idea by the draft if Albert can be ready to go.

Agree, if he can be ready week one and about the same level that would be great. The team really needs a Plan B though IMO.

I think it has been reported he was around Ross and the team some for a while but not sure we knew exactly what his interaction had been with Hickey or Philbin.
 
Wallace pissed me off the last game of the year, but I think it is a mistake to release him thr longer I have thought about it.
