Hickey is definitely out and Grier in

I guess this saves us from being turned down lol

Yikes the director of OUR college scouting is likely promoted? I didn't even realize we did scouting on this team.

Another step in gaining continuity.

Bwaaahaaaa. Fire hickey and promote the guy who helped him! Our vaunted and talented scouting director. He did such a great job analyzing college players. Well the annual ••••up of the offseason is beginning early this year. I can't wait to see them screw up the head coach search. This also means no Payton

It does no good to have everyone on the same page if the bookmark is in the wrong place. The Lions are the perfect example of that and the Dolphins are following suit. 'Our scouting department is as responsible for the poor drafting as the GM yey they want to promote the guy heading it.

The scouting department has a been a major problem for this team for years and they promote the guy that is head of it. The whole scouting department should be gone!

Also, at least this guarantees no one can say no to them. Morons. Lol

This isn't going to help land us a decent coach either. Embarrassed to be a fan these days. We can't do anything right. Sell the team, Ross. Put us out of our misery. Tannebaum stated he wasn't going to be the GM of the team. Smart man. He is getting paid like a GM to pull the puppet strings of the GM and not look like the dumbass when the decisions fail. Everyone sees it except Ross! SMH. How can one be so rich, yet so dumb?

The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight: Isolate the only "team" member who did anything constructive/is worth a damn, and fire him.

Seriously, you can't make this **** up.

I know it's impossible, but it would be nice if we fans could know exactly who made which decisions and why in this clown show. Who made the decision to ignore upgrading the o-line? Who thought that Dallas Thomas was an NFL starter? Did Philbin tell Hickey that Thomas was going to be good? Did Hickey or Tannenbaum tell Philbin that he was getting no one and to work with what he had? There has to be a reason why Philbin kept playing Thomas and no one brought in a better replacement. I hated Philbin as Head Coach and still do, but was he handicapped by the Front Office on personnel decisions, or was the Front Office getting the guys that Philbin wanted? We already know that the Front Office got rid of guys that Philbin didn't want. Why were obvious holes not filled? Who decided that they didn't need quality LBs or DBs this year?

IMO, it looks like Tannenbaum knowingly set the team up to fail so that he could bring in his own guys. There would be no reason to do this since Philbin would have failed on his own. If Ross had only cleaned house completely when he fired Sparano they probably wouldn't be in such a mess right now. I wish that Ross would get rid of Tannenbaum, since he's part of the problem.
