While a lot of people wanted Farmer and Big O trashed the Phins for not getting him I don't really like what there done compared to Hickey. Yes I know it's early however Farmer went Jeff Ireland by not really giving their QB's any receivers knowing Gordon will be oit for sometime or the whole season. Going with Miles Austin as the #1 is an Ireland move.

We passed on Tate for Moreno
Farmer drafted Manzel, who looks horrible and doesn't look to have pro qb skills.
Their Oline looks to be a mess even with 2 probowlers.

I actually think Hickey has done a nice job overall, even though it's early.

Our O line already looks much better than last year, so for that alone, he did his job. Only small issue I have is he could have gotten another/better FA guard...they were out there, and I still don't understand drafting Hazel, but it was only a 6th round pick.

Way too early, I didn't want either guy.

So far, Hickey looks like he's doing the job quite well.

Hickey should have put the screws to Farmer by taking Manziel then forcing him to give us proper compensation.

Yeah, but what would have made you happy? Is that even a possibility?

Hiring Nick Casario would have made me happy. Hell we didn't even want Hickey but we wanted to tie our fate to keeping Joe very average Philbin.
We did try and he turned us down so I have no choice but have our 5th choice as our GM.
You know what would make me happy actually compete for a damn championship. How dare a fan not be satisified with a team that hasn't had a winning season in half a decade.
Applaud mediocrity all you like

Oh my he really put me in my place, how could I not be happy with a constant non winning football team , how dare me

To be fair to Farmer, it sounds like Manziel was the owner's pick, not his. Which makes me wonder what else the owner has his hands in...

well to be fair the rumor that Ross vetoed the Orton trade is similar in nature

Dennis has done a good job, but it is a huge season because without progress he likely does not get a second year.

I love what hickey has done. All his picks are doing very well and he fixed most of the Oline. He isn't a jackass like Ireland, I am a fan

One drafted the biggest bust since Jamarcus Russell, one didn't.

They still should have cleaned house last year. Half measures don't work (see keeping Ireland and hiring Philbin in 2012), but here's hoping that this one does.

It would be hard for me to flush Hickey out the door if this goes bad. He was stuck with so much hot garbage cuz of Ireland, possibly including Tannehill, who the jury is still out on. With all he could do, I feel like our team is still one more draft and lucky FA period away from competing with the big 3; Seattle, Denver and New England. Patriots had a Great FA shopping spree. They get the bandwagon-jumping studs who take less money to play there.
It's why winning begets winning.
Hickey had a huge uphill climb to repair this roster. He needs more time.
Tannehill and Philbin are square on the hot seat.

Both are 0-0 and I wanted to stay well clear of both lol
