I think there are a handful of guys two of them we could use are Bryant Johnson and Quinn Gray.

Bryant Johnson was a 1st rounder so you know he has talent but he was only the #3 WR in Arizona because of Fitzgerald and Boldin. Given a chance to start this guy will shine. He will come cheaper then Javon Walker or D.J. Hacket.

Quinn Gray is a very underrated QB. He came in and started 4 games last season for Garrard and posted two 300 yard games with 8 TDs and 3 INTs in those starts. In total he had 10 TDs and 5 INTs last season. He is still only 28 and I think he could come in and be a good starter for someone. He would beat out Josh McCown I have no doubt

We definitely wont sign Gray, and I doubt we go after Johnson.

Johnson I agree with, but hes already been going around plenty. one of teams which is the Bills. they seem to be the front-runners. (and then they say were not the losers in the AFC east =/)

but Quinn Gray sucks major ---.

I see Gray in the same situation Garrard was in for years. Garrard was overlooked by all teams because he was a FA before Jax re-Signed him and before he became what he is today.

How is Bryant Johnson a hidden gem? Quite a few people here have been talking him up in hopes the Dolphins will sign him. Sure he was the #3 receiver in Arizona but he was drafted the year before Fitzgerald.

I'm not sure why you think he would be cheaper than Walker or Hackett as it appears that few teams are inviting him in for a looksee for whatever reason.

because he wasn't a starter, because he didn't post eye opening stats, because he is not the most highly though of WR on the market right now

Once again...how is he a hidden gem? Almost everyone on this message board knows who he is.

If he is not the most highly thought of WR on the market right now...why do you want to bring him in?

I think Javon Walker is going to demand top dollar and thats the only reason he isn't signed yet. I would say that he is the best or most highly thought of WR out there. I think Bryant Johnson is a guy with more potential than he has shown and will come cheaper then some other guys. thats why I say he's a gem

first off please do not look for undervalued guys or top flight talent in FA.years ago the cap forced teams to cut veterans towards the end of prime or due to salary cap. now 20 teams have 20 million or more in cap so unless a player is injured or wants a huge contract and his team thinks he is not worth it they will never see FA.

so used years past as example is bad.

I think Garrard is a complete QB, but Gray to me is more like Daunte a big arm and thats about it. I like B. Johnson but I t hink he will be overpriced.

I like Gray and I have met him a number of times. He is just as good as McCown but that doesn't say much. I think we will draft our 3rd QB in the 3rd rd.
