Well I saw the Press conference of Wayne Huizenga talking about winning and “it doesn’t matter how much it costs†well if that is the case, then I want to see big name free agent signings, like Lance Briggs, Asaunte Samual, Drew Bennet, Max Starks, and Dwight Freeney. I better see us make some big trades to get two #1 picks not one I mean two, now this is my opinion and if you don’t like it then don’t post reply, but if you have a legitimate retort and if you have seen the press conference on ESPN, then you know what I’m talking about .:dolphins:

We have a salary cap and competition for all those guys. Dan Snyder trys to do this type of thing and it fails.

its about time someone opened the wallet after Saban's penny-pinching. i understood not senselessly over spending, but i really was wondering who he was saving all that money to sign...

true that, true that...But that is because he has had two horriblem head coaches. Spurrier was a joke and I think Gibbs time was done even before he came back...Lets not go down that redskin road...

Legitimate retort: What Wayne is willing to spend to win does not influence the cap space available to do so. It is the cap that will influence how many(if any) "big name" FA's we sign, not Wayne's pockets.

You cannot buy extra first round picks, and trades out of the top 10 (or players for picks) for equal value(especially two first round picks) don't happen all the time or for every team that wants it. It takes two teams to come to agree to terms of trades, you can't just bully another into willingly giving up 2 for 1 when they don't want to(or even a player for a 1).

Penny pinching? More like squeezing each penny for as much as he could get out of it. We were only like $2K under the salary cap last season.

This is the way i see it if we get rid of the old dead weight and try to renogotiate with the high players to play for less and chris chambers shouldnt eve put up a fight but other than that we can get atleast 30 to 35 milion under and that would be enough to pay!!!
