This thread isn't about the rest of the game. It's not about the mountain of mistakes we made.

This thread is just a rant about how referees hurt offenses by always ruling a turnover when they aren't sure of a call. They effectively put the offense behind the eight ball when the review comes down. They don't have to backup their questionable call. They simply have to prove that they can't say it went the other way.

Anyway, I'm still pissed about this. I STILL don't think it was a fumble.

I guess I'm just hollow inside after coming so close and overcoming so much. But I did see the potential for this loss in my other posts.

EDIT: Muck gets baptized by TiVo on Page 3. Fumble. :couch:

Although I agree with you on some points, it was clearly a fumble. His knee was still about 6 inches above the ground when he lost the ball... it was pretty obvious in the replays.

We could've had the game at the end, but we blew it. Give the rookie the ball, and you are risking a rookie mistake like such a costly fumble.

The ball was on it's way out..

Still..the refs nowadays seem to really really suck. If you are going to call something one game call it in another game. It's all about being consistent. The refs aren't..

Ronnie didn't fumble the ball. Still, you can't give the other team 200 yards of offense on penalties alone and expect to win the game.

It wasn't a fumble. It was a horrible call. But it shouldn't have came down to that. It's just like last week in the Detroit game.

That call was complete BS!! It was very OBVIOUS RB's knee was down BEFORE he was hit.

Yep, i know what you mean. Right when i say the replay i knew it wouldnt be overturned. Not after the pollard call last week. im sure the refs got an hear full about what "Indisputeable" evidence is.

If that was the case no one would be complaining about it.

I know and feel your pain but we just have to take solace with the fact that we still had a chance to beat them even with 5 turnovers ,18 penalties (A new Dolphin record) ,3 Bill fumbles we couldnt recover, and a few questionable calls.

Could've run the ball there without McMike's taunting penalty (would've been 17-14 -- could've gotten a FG). The team lost the game for itself today.

It was clearly a fumble. I hate it when fans of a team think that their team can't make a mistake, so all the calls against them have to be bad. Just because I love the dolphins doesn't mean that I lose all knowledge of the game of football. The rules are the same for the fins as everyone else.
