If you can sign only one, which one would you choose?

That's an obvious answer. A Mike or a 3rd WR?

no Brainer if you watched our D last year. I am skeptical of how good he is though or does the Pats affect him like many others.

I don't get why Hightower has never been given much from the Patriots, or the rest of the league really. Wasn't it just a year or two ago he was available for like $3-4mil/year and he didn't get any interest so he signed back with the Patriots? All the sudden he's north of $10mil/per? How does this happen...

Take a look at Hightower's injuries..buyer beware.

Patriots linebacker Dont'a Hightower's status is in question for the start of the 2015 season.

Hightower is expected to be sidelined six to seven months following offseason surgery on his right shoulder, the Boston Herald reported.

Hightower missed two games in Week 5 and 6 due to a knee injury and played down the stretch with the shoulder injury. He also missed Week 14 and sat out Week 17, a meaningless game for the Pats.

Hightower should be commended for playing through the injury, the Patriots likely wouldn't be Super Bowl champs if he hadn't.

I'm wary of Alabama defenders. It seems like they are never as good in the pros as they are in college. likely due to Saban being an elite college coach

Please Miami stay away..

FOXBORO — There’s never been a need to question linebacker Dont’a Hightower’s availability.

The first-time Pro Bowler and Patriots captain dealt with a torn labrum during the run to Super Bowl XLIX, making a game-saving tackle against Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch a play before Malcolm Butler’s historic interception. Hightower also played through a torn meniscus earlier this season. Add it to the list of ailments he has been willing to endure.

FOXBORO — In Sunday’s AFC championship win over the Steelers, linebacker Dont’a Hightower played just 52 percent of the snaps.

The fifth-year linebacker was part of a rotation where he barely played back-to-back series, and was subbed out a lot in obvious passing situations.

Now we'll definitely sign him.

That and they have 5 stars backing up 5 stars backing up 5 stars. He's cornered the high school prospect market, essentially.

Is Hightower playing in the nickel defense? I know they went to some 3 safety looks when he was injured but not sure if he's covering anyone?
