EDIT: NEVER MIND I GOT REALLY CONFUSED BY THE WORDING. I'M A BIG LIAR.
MODS DELETE THE THREAD.
Take a look below to see what I mean.
It got increasingly confusing with the resigning of Bell which was written before that happened.

Just read this on NFL.com

Take it for what its worth. I can't find it anywhere else.

"The Dolphins agreed to the deal with safeties Yeremiah Bell and Renaldo Hill on the verge of becoming unrestricted free agents Friday, along with cornerback Andre Goodman. The trio started the final 14 games together last season for the Dolphins' much-improved defense, helping them make the playoffs for the first time since 2001."

Its hidden within the middle of the Wilson article.

huh!?!?!? i hope all but hill are true. although all would be fine i guess. i wonder how much cap we have now.

I can't seem to find it on my other usual haunts, but it seems legit.

If anyone else finds some evidence please post.

Don't see Hill's use. We now have 2 starting safeties. Better be backup money

you are reading it wrong. "The Dolphins agreed to the deal " up to this point they are talking about WIlson's deal THEN "with safeties Yeremiah Bell and Renaldo Hill on the verge of becoming unrestricted free agents Friday". My guess is that is what he meant to say.

Seems like a typo bc if you click on the comments to the article at the top it says that they signed Wilson on the verge of losing 3 starters to free agency. This was obv written before Bell signed.

I think what they were trying to say was something like:

The Dolphins agreed to the deal with Gibril Wilson, with safeties Yeremiah Bell and Renaldo Hill on the verge of becoming unrestricted free agents Friday, along with cornerback Andre Goodman.

basically saying that it was important we signed Wilson since 3 of last year's starters were slated to become free agents.

He meant it as, "holy crap they signed this guy even with Bell and Hill being of the verge of walking".

It states (not so clearly) that they agreed to the deal with Wilson ... with safeties Yeremiah Bell and Renaldo Hill on the verge of becoming unrestricted free agents Friday, along with cornerback Andre Goodman. So, at the time, Wilson signed - and Bell, Hill and Goodman not signed.

Your right. That is terrible wording. The confusion got compounded by Bell's resigning, which happened after the article was written.
My bad....MODS delete the thread or throw it to those depths.
