Playing hindsight and keeping it simple:-

A) T. Hill, C. Tindal & E. Ezukanma

B) A. Robinson, C. Watson & T. Anderson....... Plus left over cap space and draft picks

Tyreke Hill is a top 3 WR in the NFL. Robinson is a jag and Watson and Anderson are an unknown. I rather take the superstar player. Would I rather have unproven rookies in Charles Harris, and Raekwon McMillan, or trade those picks for a proven SuperStar player? I choose the SuperStar player.

This is a little crazy no offense. Hill is a top 3 wr at worst and we don’t know if Allen robinson is even pro bowl caliber anymore.

Tyreek is not just a top 3 receiver. He does things that nobody else can do and opens up your offense to possibilities that just aren't available with the remaining receivers in the league.

You could argue that we had the best draft in the league (I mean, really the Ravens did) if you factor in the FA pickups via trades.

I loathe threads like these. They’re pointless.

Live in the present. Not fantasy revisionist land.

Some fans really need to strongly consider getting over the fact that the franchise didn’t heed their wishes and advice.

Hill changes the entire dynamic of the team. Defenses have to respect his route running at all three levels so it will keep them guessing.

Waddle will get open more easily now as well due to the respect Hill will get.

Hill can do things that NO OTHER WR can do. At this stage, he was 100% worth the price and draft picks.

Damn, its like getting the best player at any position - bar QB/LT for peanuts.

100% Hill, plus the others.

And losing Hill hurt KC

Tyreek is an elite #1 receiver but he’s also 28 years old.

There’s only a couple WRs that are 30 years old or older in the top 90 rated WRs in the league.

Keenan Allen is 30 with LAC
Adam Thielen is 31 with MIN
Robert Woods is 30 with TEN
Julio Jones is 33 with ???
Marvin Jones is 32 with JAC
AJ Green is 33 with ARZ
Antonio Brown is 33 with ???

There’s a slew of great WRs in Tyreek’s late 20s age group that just got mega contracts, so we’ll see if sports science extends this generation of WR productivity into their 30s. There are more rules against hitting defenseless receivers and such that may help.
