You know how it is -- it's always 20/20. Looking back, with Williams making his return and looking like the old RW, many would argue that with April's 2nd overall draft, Miami should have gone with Rodgers. This would have prevented the quarterback from free falling into Green Bay's spot, and also could have secured Miami's future in the quarterback arena.

While Ronnie Williams is a wonderful edition to the Dolphins, we all know teams can't win games with just running and running and running. I think Jimmy Johnson proved that a few years ago.

Instead, Rodgers, whom I just think might be the next Brett Farve, is in Green Bay backing up a future Hall-of-Fame, and the Dolphins are starting ...well, they might as well trade for Damon Huard.

On a lighter note -- anyone think Vinny is worth a shot?

you state this as if you knew Williams was coming back when we drafted Brown. For that matter, even if we did know his intentions, we don't know how long his attitude will last, so Brown was the right choice.

The answer to your question about Vinny...........NOOOOOOO

Brown was the BPA.. he's done well so far, albeit on only 11 carries (45 yards), 1 catch for 5 yards.

They say hindsight is 20/20... but yours is not if you say we should have picked Aaron Rodgers at #2. There was talk he'd only be #3 on the GB depth chart because he has struggled.

With 20/20 hindsight, at this point of time, we made the right pick, maybe Antrel Rolle could have helped baring in mind our troubles at CB.

You miss your own words. Rogers is BACKING UP. Ronnie is STARTING. Rodgers would be on the bench WHEREVER he is this year which would do NOTHING for us! Ronnie WILL however which is why we picked him.

If we DRAFT a QB next year, he WILL NOT BE STARTING. Get that threw your heads. Alex Smith? Eli? Loseman? All those QBs take the first yea off, so next year we won't have a QB either, even if we draft one.

Saban should've taken Flutie. He'd a qb fit to play w/ an OL like yours. The guy is still a winner.

  • Rodgers might be the next Farve... but in this camp he can't hit the side of barn... he has been awful.
  • As a matter of fact all the QB in the 2005 draft have struggled... we'll see about Orton.
