Am I the only one sick of hearing about Culpeppers character in regards to the love boat thing?

Its amazing what we do in our own lives and criticize Culpepper for doing the same.

O.K. he got a lap dance....so what! I got one on Saturday.

It was on a boat....so what, the minute the captain saw strippers come on board with pro football players, he should have known it wasnt a bible study class.

Hes married....so what. He can still look at the menu.

People criticize a situation and deep down inside would love to have been on that boat. Makes me sick. I know I would.

The guy has good character, (remember him talking a lot when Moss was going wild?) It takes a better man to not say anything and let Moss hang himself with the media.

In the end we keep hearing about the story because it makes for entertainment and a good story. Not because its relevant to football. Lets give the guy a break.:fire:

sure, no one really cares if he gets a lap dance or not. it was more of a timing thing - he, and his team, had their game turned on 'suck', so my problem with the cruise is that maybe instead of rolling with strippers and hookers, he could've used the bye week to get his game straightened out.

dedication to the game - that's what i expect from the qb. if he wants to do the 'sex boat stripper hooker' party, can't he contain himself and do it in the off-season? and on a purely selfish note, you can get all the lap dances you want, it doesn't concern me - i don't have you in my keeper league...

I don't care about his sex boat it was just at a time when his team was really struggling.

I have other concerns about him, not character.

For the record:

A month ago IMO Culpepper was a sex crazed fumbler with a f'ed up knee.

As of two days ago Culpepper transformed into a spiritual leader who just wants to win for the best organization in the NFL, you have to admire that.

Clinton Portis regularly throws parties with strippers at his house....you never hear anything about this. Lay of Pepp.....he committed no crime. :rolleyes2

They were flying "escorts" (not strippers) in from Atlanta!!!! That is illegal.

If it was JUST a lap dance with strippers no problem. These were known hookers who have hooker websites with explicit language on what you get when you pay amount X$. And flying them across state lines is a crime!

Actually the fact he stood up to Moss intrigues me. At least he tried to be a leader, but Moss in the end just won't be lead. I think Pep has leadership and will do fine here.
Forgot he was married though. That ain't good. But I don't care if his wife doesn't - and I bet like many athletes wives, she's not complaining about her life of luxury.

The next time you go on a tirade you might want to learn how to spell the word hypocrite. Just thought I would help you out.:shakeno:

He's going to court for a misdemeanor lewd public behavior or something to that nature. So he's going to court for slapping a stripper on her butt.

man they should lock him up, he's a terrible person:rolleyes:

So was Culpepper on that boat all by himself with all those strippers? Because according to Bradshaw, and the media spin, Culpepper was the only one on the boat. While the rest of the Viking team members who were, are quickly being forgotten about.

When did grown men seeing adult strippers become such a horrid crime?

How is that illegal? Is a hooker who works in Nevada not allowed to take a plane out of the state?

My theory on the boat thing is that they must have stiffed the crew on tips. Probably bad tippers, a lot of pro athletes are. They take care of the crew and whatever happens on the boat stays on the boat.

I'd still rather have a guy that cheats on his wife with a hooker (that's if you assume the worst), than a guy that physically abuses his wife(McMike), runs illegal drugs (Jamal Lewis), or is involved in murder (Ray Lewis). Yet all these guys are still playing with minimal discussion.
