Hire Shannahan and Kubiak

If you take away anybody's best years and they are mediocre

the problem is the majority of his years have been mediocre. They had a great 2-3 year run and that was it. he was fired by 3 teams now for a reason. Sure he didn't get a chance in Oakland but still been fired by 3 teams. he had chances post Elway in den and in Washington. Won ONE playoff game 1999-2013.

using Oakland as an example doesn't count, they obviously should have kept him.
Bottom line for me is the fact that he is one of 13 to ever win the big one multiple times(one of 3 active) and has proven to seal the deal when given the tools. Maybe the game has passed him by but it's hard to ignore his resume

he did a good job early on in Denver w/ the best roster in the league(and when they were violating the salary cap), post Elway/TD injury he hasn't done anything. I wouldn't want him here if he came for free. he was terrible in the 00s w/ Denver and terrible in DC. caught lightning in a bottle w/ RG III in a bad division last year and fell on their faces this year. He's not a good coach.

I'm pretty sure we're at a point where college coaches are now better than losing NFL coaches.
