I'm not sure why, but Ted Ginn seems like the reincarnation of every terrible receiver we've had. He tantalizes us with his speed, but ultimately there is little payoff when it comes to actual receiving skills.

Tony Martin, James "McDrops" McKnight, and Ginn Family. It's an ugly history. Start Hartline. Start Turner. Let's let the kids grow up and see what we have.

There is a reason why Turner is inactive. Although I don't like to admit it, Ginn's presence on the field actually gives us a better shot at winning.

But I am all but convinced Ginn will be gone next year.

Ginn isn't a football player. He's a guy playing football. He's pretty much the opposite of a Parcells/Sparano type of player.

I'm starting to think there isn't even a reduced role he could play on this team.

Ginn was recruited at Ohio State to be a track and field athlete.

The football coaches at Ohio State decided to use him on their team instead.

We got ourselves a really fast track and field star at WR. This is why he isn't really a football player.

He has no instincts, isn't really tough, has no idea how to make acrobatic catches, has no pride, just wants to 'half sum fun out there' and when he makes a huge drop in the Colts game he "Don't know what the big deal is"

really its just this year these bad hands have plagued him... his first 2 years drops were not his problem...

i dont know what is going on with him this year but its really costing us

I love how people were saying "Pennington can't throw, wait until Ginn gets a real QB!" then Chad Henne comes in, thus far displaying a solid arm, and an 3 starts with him (4 games if you include San Diego) Ginn has an incredible FIVE catches.

Lolol James mcknight. That guy was awful. To think he played better than Ginn is playing now is just embarassing.

I agree with Hartline, but Turner can't even get a uniform on, never mind in a game, never mind in the game as a starter. I say we start Hartline and Camarillo (the only two who seem to have some sort of rhythm with Henne) and see what happens. Bess had a bad game yesterday, but he's going to be fine as a number 3. As of now, I can't see any way that Ginn can be any higher than the number 4 guy. Maybe that will light a fire under his *** or something.
