History Repeating tself

Sorry if its been posted already but that Jacksonvile game yesterday looked all too famaliar. Does it seem that history is repeating itself with the Colts being the Dolphins of the 90's? Buffalo would line up and tell us they were going to run it down our throats and we could do nothing about it. It brings back bad memories and my question; Is it worse to be out of the playoffs or to be in with no shot of winning with such a gaping defeciency in run defense?

i'd rather be 10-2 with no run defense if that's what your asking.

:sidelol: Me too!!

always better to make the playoffs but I must say that our team is better than the Colts and we will prove it on New Year's eve

I wouldnt say our run defense is a gaping deficiency. The jags are such a great running team

Yeah, I was mainly trying to draw comparisons to our 9-2 starts only to finish 9-7 and get pounced in the first game of the playoffs usually by buffalo. (makes me want to puke to type that)

I've always said... I'd take a team with a so-so defense and a great offense over a team with a great defense and a so-so offense. But Indy's defense is HORRIBLE!!!! Early in the season they found ways to win those close games but now... things are different. We can beat Indy. If we can get a few pts up on them we'll win the game. Playing from behind is what we're terrible at.

I think we will beat the Colts rather handily in our season finale. We have always owned them, especially in Indy for some strange reason, and it will be tough for Peyton to wing the ball around while he's on his back. I remember someone asked Manning, "What defensive player do you have to prepare for the most", back when he was in the AFC East. He replied Zach Thomas. Whether we beat the Bills and Jets or not, Indy will have theirs hands full with us.

Last time we played them it was in Miami and we had griese as our QB...They beat is by a TD...Freeney came around the end and frced a griese fumble to end our comback tie to force OT on 4th down from our own 15 or 20

So are you implying that we'll see the Jags lose 4 super bowls in this decade?

Don't know about that but those colts sure look like we did back in the 90's.
