I have been silent as it has been difficult to take in my beloved Dolphins as I have a disease. Yes, (Sounds like an AA meeting) I am a Miami Dolphins fan and I cannot help it!

I have seen some discussions about Flores which there are concerns but he is a first year head coach. Look at the tools he has been given. Why do we trust our future draft picks with Chris Grier? I am worried because he cannot claim he was not involved our did not have a voice in the past. I call a 15 yard penalty on that conversation. Let's look at this year which was to build for the future. Any one of us in this room could destroy the team to Tank if given the opportunity.

2019 Draft
  1. Chris Wilkins - no Brainer
  2. Michael Deiter - juries out
  3. Van Ginkel - concerns and third round pick
  4. Prince - concerns
  5. Cox - concerns
  6. Gaskin - concerns
Out of those 6 players, 2 starts. Let's not stop there.

2018 Draft
  1. Minkah Fitzpatrick - gone and disgruntled - not a good sign they bent over to a players whim, no leadership
  2. Mike Gesicki - not a #2 pick overall
  3. Jerome Baker - I like this kid
  4. Smythe - Not sure of his upside and a number 4 pick
  5. Ballage - showed promise in 2018 but a ghost in 2019
  6. Armstrong - no idea
  7. Poling - not on the team
  8. Sanders - kicker I like him
I could go on to the 2017 team which has some concerns. So why do we think 2020 has such a bright outlook? I have no trust in Grier and just because he is able to draft a high talented draft pick with little downside, how is he and his staff going to select and fill out the remaining team? I am not saying to throw him out of office but, if I was the owner, I would have a confidant next to me and be willing to override Grier. Steven Ross wanted to Grier to select Lamar Jackson in lieu of Minkah Fitzpatrick but it was Grier who told Ross Jackson was going to be a bust! Who do you trust because we are without both! I hate to be negative nelly but past performance is an indicator of future performance.

He does have Reggie McKenzie as a senior personnel executive and Marvin Allen as assistant GM.
Some good info here about the Asst. GM Marvin Allen.

Well Grier was here when Philbin told everyone that Tannehill wasn’t the guy and there was 1 qb drafted in the 7th round. He is clueless and then he hired his incompetent boob friend Flores.

Give the guy a chance, I doubt half those picks were even his with Gase and Tannebaum here.
No one knows that but if you are head of the scouting dep, I’m sure you have a say on draft day

How many very good to great players have we drafted the last 10 years? I’ll give him x and tunsil that’s it. And tunsil was gift wrapped so I would barely count that one

Why do we trust our future draft picks with Chris Grier? I am worried,....

Even nervous nellie, such as yourself, could write Tua Tagovailoa on a card, and give it to Goodell.

Don’t worry. There are a couple posters who will explain why you are wrong about Grier.

Just look how he fleeced those teams in the trades recently. Those picks are nice and shiny until Grier makes them turds.

He has also got us 3 first round picks and 2 second round picks in the next 2 years since we are cherry picking.

Sweet hot take, bro. Almost as hot as Miami being a playoff team with Fitzmagic at the helm.
