Maybe we had something in Rick Spielman

Nahhhhh, would've taken too long for this forum

I tell you what, I would love to take a flier on Bradford, that guy has what Tannehill lacks.

lol...just a few years ago everyone on here was saying he sucks and was a wasted #1 overall pick by the Rams. Funny what happens to a QB when he has a solid defense, good O-line and some playmakers at receiver.

Ask Rams fans and Eagles fans what they thought of Sam Bradford when he played for them and you'd probably get similar responses to what everyone around here thinks about Tannehill.

Exhibit A - but I expect it will be ignored.

Seriously, would love to see a qb that can make something happen when pocket breaks. I have always supported Tanny but after 4 plus realize that he simply does not create big plays on his own, he just doesn't. Believe me, we have more probe than qb but I think we need someone who has pocket presence and unfortunately that guy isn't on our roster.

Don't want to make this a Tanny bashing thread because I really like him but he is missing that one thing I would love to see in our offensive leader. I also don't think that can be coached up, you either have it or don't.

I always thought Bradford could make plays, he always did. His injuries hurt him and poor teams hurt him but I don't think our guy would create plays on Dallas ala Romo or even currently Dak. I am not saying I want us to get him although interesting but any qb that makes plays when a breakdown occurs would be refreshing.

I thought Bradford was pretty good in Philly but that system blows.

The St. Louis Rams had some numbers a couple of years ago that indicated Sam Bradford was close to phenomenal when throwing off play action. What he didn’t have looking toward that 2014 season was a big-time running back to catch the full interest of opposing defenses when he faked the handoff.

Another reason could have been that Pat Shurmur was the offensive coordinator. “The Rams’ offensive line was a mess,’’ the St. Louis guy said. “Shurmur did a good job of designing plays where Bradford could roll from the pocket and make quick throws.’’

Good thing our Team has figured some of this out.:ponder:
