It is the first time I have seen the hof induction ceremony, and I have to say it brought a tear to my eye. Just one question--is it usual to see so many fans from one team there, or is that normal. Also I would like to say that the speech by his son was pretty special, which showed what a person Dan was out side of football. I only have three hero's in life outside of family--one is the Duke Of Wellington, one is Ian Botham, and the biggest of them all---DAN MARINO. Wow what a guy. If he was a soldier he would be G Washington or D Eisenhower--In Peace probably the Pope.

i stood in my living room with no one around and stood up and gave him a standing ovation, as if i was actually in Canton, and i did shed some tears also. It's kind of pathetic but i do appreciate Dan Marino's effort for this franchise.
